JoinThe Knight Witch (GOG) - stucks at white screen in game mode
As told -game starts with white screen, witch is unskippable in game mode. In desktop mode, however, you can force skip to menu - but despite possibility of navigation through menu using controller - game still displays cursor, and keyboard tooltips.
I tried several protons, latest ge, and latest wine - all the same.

Prison Architect Wouldn't run
After starting the game from epic games option in heroic it's showed as running for a few seconds and then the button turns back to "play now". i'm using the latest wine-GE and GameMode is disabled

Steel Nimbus
Hi.
I'm new here, so this might not be a heroic issue at all-- my apologies if this is a waste of time. I have installed Alan Wake through the epic store and it runs good, thing is I was hoping to use my steel nimbus controller to play the actual game. Is this possible? Is it something I set up with Heroic?

Cult of the lamb Black screen as movies issue
Hi!! Wanted to launch the game again to check on the update, the first time I launched I remarked that the patch video did not display so it meant the problem was back. And indeed, starting a new game and going to the one who sleeps triggers the video but it does not display, only black (and a non functional "skip" prompt).
I can't remember how I fixed it the first time, any clues? Gog version, using wine through Heroic, here are the logs (twitch integrated may have been active thus all the crap about the streaming bits): https://pastebin.com/CmvGifvn...
Genshin Impact not getting past the "Play Now" button
When I first started genshin impact, an epic games page opened in firefox, asking me to link genshin to the launcher, and now the game crashes before getting past heroic games launcher. I also get a wine (i think) error, which says something about my user information I used to log in (that page that popped up could be completely unrelated, but I'm curious if disconnecting genshin from my epic games would change anything). Any help is appreciated
GTA V - Won't work on Devuan OpenRC with Proton-TKG.
Salutations. Basically, I tried running the game on Devuan OpenRC with Proton TKG or Proton Experimental, even Proton-GE. That resulted in it either not launching, or launching and saying something along the lines of "Can't install prequisites".
If I launch it from Wine-Staging 9.0 RC5 instead it works until a random error, so far this is every attempt:
1. Game launches, then crashes
2. Launcher appears, loads, crashes
3. Verify game files error...
Canāt run Cyberpunk 2077 thru GOG
Iām on Steam Deck OLED and downloaded Cyberpunk 2077 through Heroic Launcher.

Tried adding ālauncher-skip and switched quite a few Proton versions, still didnāt get it to work.

Can't run Genshin Impact
After launching the game, the wine configuration update message box remains open. The game doesn't start. I'm using Linux Mint 21.3 (Virginia). Are there Wine packages for this version?

Should I use gamemoderun for heroic itself like
$gamemoderun heroic, does that transfer to the games executed within Heroic?...Reason for performance on Heroic

Im using it with crossover and metal uhd is always on and just on heroic games when I play just with crossover it is not like that
Fallout: New Vegas crashes on "Play Game"
Running Fallout: New Vegas from the Heroic Launcher in Mac Sonomoa, I successfully get the control panel with "Play/Options/Data Files/Tech Support/Exit," while music plays. But when I click "Play," it just crashes. Log attached. Thanks in advance for any help.
Entire hard disk access on system seems laggy and delayed when using Heroic to run a game.
Running Genshing Impact install. System has OS (MX Linux) on SSDs and for data storage a couple of 10TB WD Red 7200RPM spinning rust. Heroic is using a loop-mounted ext4 image on an NTFS partition (because NTFS is used for most large data storage for Windows access when dual booting).
Any idea what causes this? I did make the image sparse... Here's what I did:
truncate -s 750G /media/Data/home/joshua.img
losetup -f
losetup /dev/loop0 /media/Data/home/joshua.img...
Yakuza 5 Crashing at Cutscenes
So despite multiple reports on ProtonDB saying everything runs with newer Proton versions, I cannot get Yakuza 5 to play the opening cutscene without the game crashing. I've tried multiple Wine-GE versions (5-23 though 5-25, and Wine GE Latest) and Proton GE versions (Proton GE 5-23 though 5-27). I'm using both a Steam Deck and a PC with Nobara 39 (Fedora based).
GE 5-23 is a minimum requirement as it has a patch specifically for cutscene audio (older versions the audio would get skipped and out of sync)....
Is For Honor available ?
Hello, I've tried to play For Honor from the Ubisoft launcher on my steam deck through Lubris with proton experimental and GE-Proton8-27. Nevertheless, the game won't launch on multiplayer and i'll be automaticly kicked of the server i'm trying to enter in. Did I made something wrong with the config or it's just impossible to connect for the moment ?
