Disable pulseaudio temporary to play Maniac Mansion Deluxe in Heroic - maybe useful with other games

Ok, i was able to start it but without MIDI sound and without speech. I have googled the problem and found kind of a solution but only described rudimentary and for standalone wine. On should create a startscript, i guess that would be *.sh or is it *.bat or maybe something else? Not able to run GOTG

When trying to run GOTG I get this error: "No suitable D3D12 adapter found. Please check minimum requirements specified on the store page." Attaching thr logs file for this issue in addition to a screenshot of the error message. I went to the folder with the game and tried running it from there (was a part of a fix I found on the internet) and I got the following message: "please make sure that the Epic launcher is installed before starting the game." Attaching a screenshot of the error message. I would appreciate any help with these issues....

Cannot start Watch Dogs (Windows)

When pressing play, Heroic will say the game is running and after some time will stop. Since i thought this could be a Ubi issue, so i manually installed Ubi connect which throws this error when trying to run the game.

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw how to install mods?

I was wondering if it is possible to install game MOD files for Rebel Galaxy Outlaw. Is that done in the launcher or somewhere else? I could not find any section for mods particularly for that game in my library. Modfiles appear to be formated as a *.pak type file.

Thronebreaker via GOG won't start with video files available and graphics are glitched

Loading Thronebreaker via GOG using Whisky (2.2.2). Launching after install results in a loading screen and then black screen. Searching online this appears to be an issue with missing windows media files. Some users report newer versions of Wine have resolved this issue. Workaround was to remove all video files located in Streamingassets->Videos->campaign. I did that and the game loaded up to the main menu. Starting a new game starts the game with the intro voice over without the background video. The game then drops you onto the main map, but the video is highly disorted. Colors are all incorrect, there are artifacts, and missing sprites....

the silent age: doesn't launch

It seems the game crashes "after heroic" as I'm getting a wine error but overall it's difficult to debug. Seems to suggest no RAM but there is a lot of it free (12/16 GB of RAM and another 16 GB or swap).

Is it possible to limit the save sync to certain files?

I run Sable from Epic and I sync the saves folder /home/username/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Sable/drive_c/users/username/AppData/LocalLow/Shedworks/Sable/SaveData works fine as well - but this folder holds the configuration file as well. Is there a way to limit the sync and exclude the config file?

Hi! I'm using Heroic as my main launcher for Epic Games and I'm wondering if Fortnite will work if Epic Games is not installed on my PC at all?
