The expanse: A Telltale Series stuck on installing prerequisites.

Hi, I tried to install The Expanse on a regular SteamDeck. I've tried with different versions of Proton, and have installed vcrun2022 using winetricks. However, any time I press play it displays "installing prerequisites" and gets stuck there, with no indication that anything's actually happening. Hopefully some of you guys know what the problem is....

Crossover bottle not found

Guardians of the Galaxy MacOS with Apple Silicon crashes at loading icon before reaching main menu

Hello everyone! I recently saw this video to get Guardians of the Galaxy working on Mac with Apple Silicon through Heroic and Wine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBVjBQTprcY&t=195s I followed the instructions and the game is actually launching. The problem is, as it loads into the game (shield/sigil icon bottom right corner) it crashes after a few seconds EVERY time. I don't even get into the in game menu. Trying to select SD card as the installation path causes HL to freeze entirely (Steam Deck)

Hi, I've used HL in the past with no issues but I tried to install a game from my Epic library today and found that choosing my SD card as the installation path causes the entire application to freeze, I cannot interact with it at all. This happens if I try to set the default path in the settings too. I'm doing this from desktop mode....

getting this error while downloading gta 5 on macbook air m1

so i have finished the installation of the gta 5. i already have crossover downloaded with rockstar games launcher in it. so i first opened the launcher and then gta 5, but it gives me this error. am i missing any step or need to change something? btw in heroic game defaults settings i have set the same version of crossover, being 23.7.1

Black screen launching Cyberpunk from gamescope-session

Goal: Play GoG Cyberpunk with HDR So I installed Cyberpunk on GoG and added it to steam, then switched over to a gamescope session, but after launch, the only thing I see it black screen, the game launches just fine on regular desktop(hyprland) so it seems like gamescope-session X heroic issue. Any pointers would be highly appreciated. I'm not stuck on gamescope-session, but it's the only way I know to get HDR(well, and plasma 6 beta, but that's not ideal) Tried: Using gamescope-fg wrapper as linked in ChimeraOS/gamescope-session...

deathloop wont launch

Hello all, im pretty new to gaming in linux, so i decided to give it a go, ive ran into some problems however I installed Deathloop through heroic because i had gotten it on a day it was free in epic games. ive tried running it with proton and wine and i always get this issue: (photo attatched). i clicked on the "report an issiue running this game" button and the result of that is in the text file attatched. previously, i had been able to run it perfectly with proton-ge-proton8-27, but now it doesnt even work with that. when i click the link, i get a website that just says that my game purchase cannot be validated successfully....

AMD Mesa drivers: Triangles all over the place

Hello! I'm rocking an RX 6600 on Fedora 39, and I keep getting issues with triangles all over the place in some Vulkan games, but very occasionally. This isn't a Heroic specific issue, but I've seen it happen on Cyberpunk 2077 and Detroit: Become Human, both of which are Vulkan games. Attached is a screenshot from CP2077, D:BH looks pretty similar....

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is great but system crashes frequently requiring reboot

The crashes happen at various appearing random places in the game, when docking, after autopilot disengage and arriving at coordinates, or after landing. Environment: Debian 12, Wayland, Vulkan, RADV, heroic 2.12 Flatpak install, no EOS overlay, no autosave sync, DXVK enabled.

Ghostrunner not launching properly and crashing after 2 minutes since downgrade back to NVIDIA 535

The game was running fine on 535 before. I upgraded to 545 again to help a moderator on the forum with debugging and maybe fix the issues myself and use the latest driver, but it didn't work for now. I downgraded back to 535 and now the game is not running. It crashes after 2 minutes of a black window and gives out an error message, which I missed to read. shadow of the tomb raider black screen after credits

Hello! Thank you for your work on this, and thank in advance for the help. I'm getting a black screen right after the initial credits. There is sound, and I can alt+f4, which does show me the confirmation, which does work, but other than that it's a black screen. Googled around, and tried different versions of proton, but the result is always that, or a completely unresponsive black screen. Attaching the log....
