Can't use the ambient variable WINEDLLOVERRIDES

In order for the videos to work on Resident Evil from GOG it is necessary to use the ambient variable "WINEDLLOVERRIDES=mciavi32=n,b". I already successfully used it on Heroic on previous versions, but the app is not letting me use it anymore (as shown on the print). This same variable works fine on Lutris and the game is running well. Did I do something wrong or is it an issue with Heroic? I'm on Heroic 2.18.0. Thanks in advance!

Steam corrupt downloads

Every single game i try to download stops downloading at the same percent dpending on the game everytime. I've tried using the whiskey app, using crossover, wine, deleteing every file and redownloading clean, changing my download region, but nothing is working. Does anyone have any clue on what I can do?

FalloutNV dissapears after tabbing out and back in

The game starts well, everything works, but if I tab out and back in while using fullscreen the game dissapears. The window still exists however.

Variable names can't contain the "=" sign

Just updated to the latest Heroic version, and when I try to set an environment variable WINEDLLOVERRIDE to opengl32.dll=n,b Heroic complains Variable names can't contain the "=" sign. This also occurs when I try to edit a working (!) variable of an existing game entry.

Games stop taking input from joycons

I am on full amd pc with bazzite distro, everything upto date. Heroic is installed from flathub. Steam, Lutris and other launcher and games works fine. But games from heroic games launcher stop taking input from joycons attached to pc. Steam working fine tested it.

uninstall game

I'm trying to uninstall bus simulator 21 from the epic game store on the heroic launcher. I have an rog ally x running on bazzite. Every time I click the uninstall button on the game it uninstalls for one second and then pops up that the game's ready to play. If I go to the games folder and try to delete it there it just repops up again replaces the file that I deleted automatically. I also tried to install farming simulator 2022 and the download ended up stopping part way through and now it says the game is ready to play and it won't let me continue to install it. I tried to uninstall that game too and the same thing happens. ...

Playing windows games with wine suddenly doesn't work anymore

I haven't played one of my windows games in a while. So i was really surprised and confused as to why suddenly when i try to launch any of my windows games using wine, they all give an error, not the just not opening that i was kinda used to. I haven't changed the wine-proton version i use, nor did i change the version of heroic. But even on the newest version (2.17.2) it doesn't behave any differently, neither on an older one (2.13) I tested launching them using steam instead and it still works that way....

Access to the Epic Games Launcher

I'm running Ready or Not via Steam. However due to how crossplay is set up, you need to use the epic games overlay to accept or send friend invites. As I am not using Epic to launch the game, I do not have access to the epic overlay. And for some ridiculous reason, you cannot do any social management via the epic website or their mobile app. My workaround was to install Satisfactory via Heroic, run it, use the overlay in Satisfactory, and then close the game. But as you can imagine that's a PITA. Is there no way to access the Epic games launcher directly from Heroic? Or maybe be able to manage friends from within Heroic?...

Trying to start Ruiner again

I posted a while back trying to get some games to run, now I'm back at it. I'm attaching my Proton log (along with the Heroic log), which makes it look like there are drivers not loading, but lsmod | grep nvidia shows Nvidia drivers. I tried both with and without umu. Any ideas?
