2.3 FPS decrease

Hey, just wondering. Did something change between versions 2.2.1 and 2.3 in regards to quality settings or something? Updating caused my fps to drop from 50 to sometimes like 12 so i was wondering whether i have to adjust some setting down to get the same "result" as 2.2.1

Trying to make my server work with DH installed server-side

Hello I'm trying to install DH server side to generate LOD's outside the default chuck radius But I'm struggling to do so, here is the console messages I get when trying to launch the server I already have 4gb of RAM allocated for my server, and for the 2 other potential causes I'm not sure how to configure that for the server side...
Solution:
You have to increase the memory amout given to the server 4 GB might still be to low I guess...

"Fuzzy" look when zooming?

Hiya, I installed the Distant Horizons mod and whenever I zoom in the blocks are sort of fuzzy (shown in screenshot as i can't really explain it that well) I've set the CPU and GPU usage to max and i can't find and setting to try and get rid of this. Any help?...

Distant Horizons 2.3 causing chunk holes in pregenerated server world

So basically I pregenned a server world using distant horizons 2.2 to port to my server world. I was told that this pregenned data would still work in 2.3 and it has, with one big exception. There's a giant chunk hole that stretches for a certain radius around my world spawn. Beyond it everything generates fine, before it everything generates fine. But where it is the generation is just messed up and nothing I do can fix it. Please help. Another thing- occasionally the chunks will appear briefly in the void zone, but they dissapear very quickly...

Error spamming in the chat on DH 2.3.0b (Not OpenGL)

I installed DH 2.3.0b on the latest version of Integrated MC (1.5) and it is unplayable due to server lag in singleplayer. As far as I can tell this issue is being caused by this error message happening multiple times a second. The OpenGL error message was also spamming in the log but I was able to install a mod that suppresses that issue. Does anyone have a way of tracking what is causing this issue?

First thing you should do is update to the nightly build as that actually fixes the openGL errors

1.21.5 shader issue

Hello, Im currently trying out Distant Horizons for the first time and was trying to get it working with shaders in 1.21.5 but am running into an issue I cant seem to fix! Its honestly probably a me issue as I'm not super tech savy (I did read through the faq). I believe I'm using the latest Iris version for 1.21.5 and the newest nightly release of DH (as recommended) , but every shader from the compatible shaders list is giving me the same issue to varying degree. How does the Pregen system work?

As the title says, Just curious how the Pregen system works, I'm curious because when I turned it on on my server it says like- over 1k days untill complete, generated some then stopped, I have some idea- Like only doing it based on the players render distance and exploration- But I'm curios anyway in case I'm wrong.

4 Questions: LOD Chunk RenDis / Need mod to auto preload chunks / DH on a server / Complimentary Sh.

1. LOD Chunk Render Distance Radius set to 500 and 1000 both show the same distance of rendered chunks 2. If this is because the other 500 chunks haven't been loaded for DH to show them, what's a mod I can download to automatically preload chunks before I enter the area (not Chunky, I don't want to be required to manually load the chunks around me and wait for the progress bar to finish every x chunks) 3. To set DH up on a server, will it work just like a normal modpack where everyone playing on that server has to have the same mods, and to where DH is a client side mod so everyone can use their own settings?...
Solution:
World generation in general is quite slow, if you want to speed it up: Install Noisium, Lithium and C2ME(DH 2.3.0+). These mods can improve generation speed by a bit, but it will still not be fast. Increase CPU Load in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU. In Dh 2.3 the smoth transition was introduced, but in my set up the transition didn't changed

the transition betwen lods and normal terrain got a smothed in the lastest version of DH but i'm still getting the old one

I tried changing the processor priority settings - nothing changes, everything is the same - at the beginning of the map there are detailed LODs, and then it's just awful

Client doesn't seem to receive DH data from server when chunks aren't loaded.

Can't seem to receive DH data when the chunks aren't loaded. Have I missed an option somewhere? I have pregenerated about 700 chunks in each direction, but after logging in, this is all I see:

Cave Culling not working on multiplayer

This feels like x-ray/xray. Pregen With "INTERNAL_SERVER" Chunk Issues

I pregenned a region using the INTERNAL_SERVER option two times both with and without C2ME. The region files are created as well as the LODs, but it seems like the chunks aren't generating properly. Walking to a new area within the generation bounds still causes chunkgen lag and attempting to render either Dynmap or Squaremap for the entire "pregenned" area only loads regions which the player has loaded in. Sky and sun missing in 2.3.2-b (macOS)

Is it possible to change the cloud texture DH uses?

I'm using a Zelda 16x16 resource pack with nice clouds but they only extend to the vanilla render distance and they look weird combined with DH clouds. Is it possible to edit the DH cloud texture, just like any other texture?
