Low performance with transparent objects

So, using DH on 1.21.6, I'm noticing that my FPS tanks anytime that I'm viewing the horizon/LODs through something transparent like glass. Just looking out the window of my house I go from like 60 to 40 FPS, and the more varied the transparency is, the worse the drop is. I also looked at the horizon through my friend's super smelter and FPS dropped to like 20. Same thing looking through the transparency effect on a Nether portal. Computer specs: Core i7 10700KF...

LODs on Greenfield are loading default terrain not the city do I gotta manually load all these chunks

Taking hours to load

When i join a world with distant horizons installed, it says 350,000 chunks left, 8h left. and it lags my game alot. im using a laptop with 16gb ram, amd cpu, and amd integrated graphics...

Giant Monolith Structures and Unfinished Appearing Terrain

Hello! I recently installed DH with a few other mods listed in photos. I am having this strange generation where unfinished floating world and tall structures are appearing, upon reaching these places in my singleplayer world they appeared to be mountains that are not looking as they should with DH from a distance. I did use Big World mod for world generation. The world was pregenerated with chunky at first before I joined the discord server and read that faq that said not to do this. I attempted to start another chunk generation in a separate save and rendering with just DH as recommended but was getting the same results. If anyone knows how to resolve this I would greatly appreciate it!...

cpu load on a 11600k unplayable at balanced

literally i think its even causing discord on my pc not to show cause of how heavy it is on my cpu, all the mobs are frozen and I can't play the game even on minimum impact physics mod doesnt nearly cause this amount of lag for me

Mod client and server requirement

If the mod is installed on the server does every client need to have it or can the people who dont want to use it just remove the mod when playing on the server

how do people render world view so far

i dont get how people can get render distance of more than 1000 chunks using distant horizons, i have a laptop with an i7 9750h and 16gb ram and rtx 2060, it takes like 4hours to generate 256 readius, more than 100 hours for 1000 radis, and i know that my cpu is not a beast but its not weak at all, if we consider that something like i7 13700k is 3 time as strong as mine, which it isnt, it would still take that cpu atlesast 30h to generate the chucks, multiple days if its something like 3000, so...

cant seem to get LOD to load on server world IF shaders are enabled

Fairly new to DH and modern day minecraft mods. TLDR i followed the guide on https://gist.github.com/Steveplays28/52db568f297ded527da56dbe6deeec0e for neoforge and have things working on both single/multiplayer. Im running a 1.21.4 server with some friends although the server is vanilla. I downloaded the world and went to single player and world gen'd just fine and copied it over to the servers sqlite file and things work fine in the server too. The issue is that once i turn on shaders, it doesnt seem to load past the vanilla render distance. Im using any of the shaders mentioned in the github list both directly from the download link / from their github if available like bliss 2.0.4. Things work fine and I can see far away if I have them off....
Solution:
Downgrade DH to 2.3.2 or switch to fabric, there's a bug with shaders on the current version

Random crashes; Nvidia driver or Mod incompatibilities?

My game keeps crashing randomly when in a world. It doesnt give a crash report but i have hs__er files and latest logs for it. While the crash had only started happening after adding a few more mods and resource packs, I had showed someone else them and he said that it must be smth with DH, and thats why im here.
