EZ Solder Header Pin Broke

Hey all, I have the EZ solder headers for my lily58 and unfortunately, one of the gold pins broke off. However, I was reading the trouble shooting guide here: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/build-guides/lily58-wireless/troubleshooting...

Powet switch broke

Flashing Issue

Hello! While attempting to add underglow to my Lily58 I appear to have caused some issue while loading custom firmware. When I attempt to load the stock .uf2 files onto each side my old keybinds are still active and it is still acting up. I attempted to reflash the bootloader but following this instruction: https://nicekeyboards.com/docs/nice-nano/troubleshooting/#my-nicenano-seems-to-be-acting-up-and-i-want-to-re-flash-the-bootloader I am having no luck running the command stated. Any help would be greatly appreciated!...

nice!nano dead

Hello, I just got my kit for a corne 6 column layout. After putting it all together , I tried flashing the firmware, but I could only get the right half to flash. The left haft does nothing when plugged into the computer. I pulled the nice!nano out of the left half and tried plugging it into my computer by itself and notice that none of the LED on the board turn on even for a second and my computer did not recognize anything being connected. Compared to the right half were after flashing the ZMK...

How to configure?

Can anyone please confirm the following... 1. If I flash my Corne using the artifacts generated by the repo, wireless access via Zmk Studio is not supported. 2. If I flash my Corne using the firmware supplied directly from the site I get wireless access via Zmk Studio, but then I lose the facility to configure from a text file in the repo....

Damaged tenting foot. No response from contact us form

Hello, I bought my Lily58 kit about a month ago. Soon after, I realized one of my tenting feet had a manufacturing defect. It was constructed in such a way that prevented it from extending at all. I reached out through the Contact Us page and got no response. That was at least two weeks ago now and I've heard nothing since.

adding or replacing a switch with a rotary encoder?

would love to get a rotary encoder on my board, has anyone figured this out?

Issue With nice!view Display

Received my order (TA18584) yesterday evening and built it last night. I'm running into an issue where the right pcb's nice!view is garbled/pixelated. This will happen if turned on and running off battery or plugged into a pc. The right pcb's keys all work though. I first thought it was isolated to the nice!view, so I swapped it to the left pcb. However, the display worked. If I were to put the working nice!view, originally from the left pcb, into the right pcb, it doesn't work. This makes me think it's not actually an issue with the nice!view after all. My order also included the No-Solder Spring Headers. While I can rule out the absolutely terrible job I would have done soldering if I had lol, I did make sure that everything is fully pushed down and seated as I'd expect....

Reset button isn't recognised by qmk even though I tested it and it works.

Video shows me pressing the reset button. Pressing the reset button results in my lily58 disconnecting. Shorting the reset and ground pins does the same. 2nd video shows me attempting to flash my lily58. Image shows the underside of my lily58. The soldering isn't very good but i confirmed that the reset pin and ground pin are connected to the reset button using a multimeter so they should work anyway....

Bluetooth Pairing Issue with My Keyboard – Was Working, Now Won't Connect

Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with my Bluetooth keyboard. I actually used it successfully earlier today, everything worked fine. But now, even though the keyboard still shows up in the Bluetooth devices list, I can’t get it to connect anymore. It was already paired and working, so I’m not sure what changed. Has anyone experienced something similar or has tips on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!...

Aluminum corne lag

I have 3d printed corne from aliexpress, and a premium corne from typeractive. I usually have a trackpad, or trackball mouse between my keyboards. I only notice lag with the typeractive corne, the other one works just fine without any issues. If I remove the mouse from between then the keyboard works just fine. Is this normal, and is it due to the aluminium case?...

Lifted pads on through holes for microcontroller

Hi, while desoldering my microcontroller it looks like I ripped off the circular pads for 4 of the pins for the microcontroller, on the top side. Note the bottom side looks normal and doesn’t suffer this issue. Is this a problem? How can I check that this still works before soldering on a new microcontroller?...

I've got money to spend on Typeractive.xyz, how can I wireless-ize my Corne 3?

I think I need two Nice!Nano v2s, and a battery, and maybe some headers. But I'm wondering if the battery (hopefully) will go under or over the mcu cause the case is slim and there is no room under the pcb for a battery. Also, can I buy two Nice Views to go on top of the batteries and controllers? Thanks in advance for any help.

Bill of Materials to Convert Wired Split Sofle to Wireless with on/off switches?

I would like to convert my wired split Sofle keyboard to wireless with on/off switches. What would I need to buy from you to do this? 2 nice nanos, 2 LiPo batteries, 2 sockets, 2 switches. Anything else I'm missing? Is there a kit available with all of these materials?

Device recognized over USB but not bluetooth

Just trying with the left half of my new corne since I have some desoldering to do on the right. I am able to connect over USB and even paired to bluetooth while connected to USB but when I unplug it nothing happens. It also seems to go into the bootloader and mount as a disk with only one press instead of two. Pretty sure everything is soldered fine and without shorts.

Peripheral (right side) Nice!View theme

What causes the theme to change on the peripheral (right side) Nice!View display? The theme seemed to spontaneously change from the Hot Air Balloon theme to the Mountain View theme. I haven't figured out what triggered it. I'm using the most recent default firmware downloaded from the typeractive website. Thanks in advance....

Left side (set as peripheral) battery drains within a day

Hi. I've been having some trouble with the left side of my Corne. The battery seems to drain pretty much within a day. I can leave it charging overnight so that it's full in the morning, and by mid-afternoon it's dead. I verified that it is in fact the battery by enabling reporting from the peripheral, and I grabbed a third party macOS utility that displays it. I can see that the right hand side is basically full and the left hand side is pretty much empty. Is this likely to be a problem with the battery or something else? I should add that I began with the no solder headers but experienced endless trouble with them, and so I soldered everything together using the provided headers. Everything has been much more stable since then, but the power issue has not resolved. That makes me think it's unlikely to be a bad connection because I was experiencing the issue before with the no solder headers—and after having soldered them. I've been having this issue pretty much since day one....

niceview possibly doa

Hi folks, I have just completed my Lily58 build. It appears however one of the niceview panels is doa. I have reflowed the solder on the unit to no success, swapping the unit from the right unit works perfectly. Any ideas what I can do?...

Lilly58 single key delayed input, or no input unless pushing hard.

Hey guys! I built my Lill58 a few weeks ago, and it's been good so far. As I have been using it more, I noticed that I have two keys next to each other (k and l) that work most of the time, but often I find myself missing them when typing and noticed that I have to push harder to get them to register a keystroke. When I push harder, it also often sends two keystrokes as well. PCB is pre-soldered. I added extra solder to the microcontroller to ensure it has a solid contact (it seems it does), but I am still not sure how to debug this next....
