Can't change any of the Album "options"

I created this album long ago. Today I decided to set a "password lock" for it but got an error popup. I tried changing other options, but they too were not working. I also sent the bug by email today itself. Hope it gets solved soon.

Backup is uploading duplicates

To save data, I copied all files from my Android device to a Macbook and backed them up with the Ente MacOS app. I then set up the backup on the Android app, but it seems like Ente doesn't recognize the images that are already in the cloud as the same ones on the phone. The result is that the Android app now uploads the same images again. The images are not detected as duplicates (Backup -> Free up space -> duplicate files). Did I miss something? Does MacOS mess with the files? I'm pretty sure I did the exact same thing on with Windows/Android on a different device/account before....

Remove Items from Memories?

Is there a way to remove certain albums or people from the memories function? I love the memories but I could do without seeing pics of, say, my ex from 15 years ago 🤣 (I'm an obsessive archivist, so I still want to keep the images and be able to find them)...

Background sync not working

I'm on Android 16 (Google Pixel 7) with ente photos 1.2.0 (installed from f-droid). Despite having battery optimization for ente turned off, backup of the camera folder is only triggered when opening the app. Are there any settings I have to adjust? I checked the docs as well as dontkillmyapp.com. ...

Backup folder from *now* on

Hi, I'm switching to ente from another sync service to backup my phone's photos (Android). Is there an option to set my camera folder to backup without uploading the existing photos? So only the new photos get uploaded? Thanks!...

Deleting photos from desktop

When i delete a photo that was backed up from the phone, i get the option to remove from ente, as well as the phone. Would it be possible to add the same functionality for watched folders. It would be nice not to have to delete the same photo, twice....

Reindex photos

Is it possible to reindex photos for the face recognition? Some images doesn't show up for a person. But if I open the image manually it shows the person as recognized.

Storage Space when upgrading to a paid plan

I'm currently on the free plan with 20 GB (due to referral). If I, for example, decide to upgrade to the 50 GB plan, do I get an additional 50 GB, so 70 GB in total or will it still be 50 GB in total? …or 60 GB (50 GB + 10 GB referral)?

My phone was stolen

Hide Option Not Showing.

Export all users photos to my own server

Love using ente and having family plan really makes it easy for all of us to share albums and have personal storage. I'm a bit overcautious and would like to have a local copy of all the photos on my nas just to have. Is there a way to export the photos from all users and and albums....
