Feature Discussion: Filtered Timeline View

Hello, I would like to discuss a feature regarding the current filter implementation. I really like to work with filters in order to move pictures into albums, like them, and so on. For example I specify 2024 and work through my pictures. Currently, after applying a filter all pictures are shown in a bunch in a new window, what makes it difficult to select a day or several days very easy and fast. Why not simply filter the timeline view directly? or if it is in a new window, a checkbox could enable the timeline in the new window so the user can decide if he or she wants to view all filtered pictures directly or move structured in a timeline. However, it should be possible to select pictures as in the normal timeline in groups conveniently. In my opinion I do not understand why filters open the new window rather then simply filter the timeline. Happy to hearing your opinion....

How to enable timeline view for missing gps coordinates?

Hi, I have read that with 1.142.0 it should be possible to enable timeline view for missing GPS coordinates. I upgraded but struggle to find it. Under "Maps" I only see the map and in the filter, I do not find something for missing coordinates, neither in discover. Only the existing places are listed. Please give me a quick hint! 🙂

iPhone: Color difference between Gallery and Immich

Hi, I’ve noticed a color difference when viewing the same photo in Immich compared to my girlfriend's iPhone Gallery. It looks like the iPhone app might be applying a custom color profile, but I’m not sure. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Create folder(s) inside Locked Folder

Is there an option to create (a) folder(s) inside Locked Folder? I can't find an option for it anywhere. If I drag-n-drop a folder into LF it just copies the photos but not the folder. I'm using Server v1.142.0

User cannot log in from mobile app

Starting from 140 I believe, the only user cannot log in due to password mistmatch. I never change my password. I use the true admin user to reset his password, and can log in from the web. Change his password back to his original one. Can log in from the web....

immich truenas data migration to new folder structure, but keep library at the same place?

TrueNas: Fangtooth 25.04 Immich: App Version: v1.141.1 Version: v1.9.24 So im currently migrating my apps to an ssd App pool (2x 512Gib single stripe). And i want to migrate immich overe and change to the new folder structure. My problem is that i have different Users and the immich library applies the folder structure in a way so that each usere has its own user dataset where the library is put into. This way if i give SMB access they can only access there own immich library, for backups etc. Now i don't want to move all of the library to the ssd storage, because then i would have to rsyn the 100reds of Gib images on top, which i would like to avoid. ...

IPad stuck

getting this error only if my remote ML server docker container is running (attached text) it gets spammed so much that i tried outputting the log to a text file and it immediately jumped to a megabyte 🤣 what else should I post to be helpful?...
