Knewb question - just got my Rhino base! Super impressed so far.
How does one load a stick profile? IE I have a Virpil Alpha grip, and the buttons are acting... odd. I assume that's because I need to load a profile for that specific stick? All the buttons seem to register as double presses...
Update:
Plugged in my old warthog stick and it's fine, thankfully. I'll use it for now, but if anybody has any ideas how to get the Alpha to behave, I'd appreciate it.
UPDATE2: Nevermind - I'm an idiot. I was looking for the stick profile on the web app/not the software. Got it now!

Anti-cogging is working (gimble is smooth when emergency stop is out), no spring forces are present and the base does not show in the configuration app.

Aso i've noticed a general issue that happens sometimes, and I am not sure how to repro it, but basically it seems that at times the configuration app just loses the ability to get telemetry from the device, everything still appears to work fine, i can apply effects and all that, and games are fine, but in the configuration app i can't see the telemetry data, and i have to basically fully unplug the rhino

AI’d say it happens a decent amount yeah, I think usually after using the emergency switch (I generally use that when I pause to go get up and do something)

ANope, connected to a powered hub. And nope, Intel system. To be clear though, nothing else about the device isn’t working, it seems to just be a software/firmware bug between the device and the config app

RSo I just got my Rhino kit running. Still a newb when it comes to the software. Is there a way to globally tune tune down the X spring force? It seems like whatever values done at the effects tab get overwritten by programs such as DCS. Should I be using TelemFFB?
WYes, the sliders in the Settings tab adjust global strengths

SHi Walmis. Just got my Rhino and am testing it. Very impressed by the build quality and ease of setup so far. I have a question though. I have a Virpil T50 grip attached and I can’t seem to make it recognize the analog brake axis. (Pinky lever). Any ideas? I tried the windows USB controller calibration but it doesn’t seem to want to calibrate that axis
MI think mine just worked when i used the axis assignment in dcs
WHi, you need to activate the VPC T-50 profile in the VPforce configurator and calibrate it there too.

RHnmm, I'm not getting any analog axis on the F-16 WinWing grip. The grip type is set to WinWing adapter, and the buttons all work. But none of the analog axis is working. When set to debug mode, the last 9 bits are always 00. Is there something else in the setting I need to set?
WMaybe you need to calibrate it with a wingwing base? I think WW stores calibration in the grip.
TI found mine worked in game but showed differently in VP
R@walmis I've printed and fitted an 11 degree version of the throw limiter (thanks for making it available!). After running the auto calibration I'm finding the throw is shorter with master gain back at 100%. If I set master gain to 0% the throw reaches the newly calibrated full deflection. I haven't checked if it's related to a particular force effect yet, only master gain after I noticed the shorter throw.
RDeflection as shown in the axis graph in the configuration app (the physical deflection isn't affected). I also see the same reduced throw in other joystick testers.
WHey, check out the
Force comp. parameter, it should help with this issue. Recommend to try the Rhino defaults.

WYou need to open up the "Tune" dialog for friction and play around with the values to get a stable response, also you may need to increase the filter bandwidth, try 8-10 Hz.
