so i've noticed a general issue that happens sometimes, and I am not sure how to repro it, but basically it seems that at times the configuration app just loses the ability to get telemetry from the device, everything still appears to work fine, i can apply effects and all that, and games are fine, but in the configuration app i can't see the telemetry data, and i have to basically fully unplug the rhino

I’d say it happens a decent amount yeah, I think usually after using the emergency switch (I generally use that when I pause to go get up and do something)

Nope, connected to a powered hub. And nope, Intel system. To be clear though, nothing else about the device isn’t working, it seems to just be a software/firmware bug between the device and the config app

Hi Walmis. Just got my Rhino and am testing it. Very impressed by the build quality and ease of setup so far. I have a question though. I have a Virpil T50 grip attached and I can’t seem to make it recognize the analog brake axis. (Pinky lever). Any ideas? I tried the windows USB controller calibration but it doesn’t seem to want to calibrate that axis

Hnmm, I'm not getting any analog axis on the F-16 WinWing grip. The grip type is set to WinWing adapter, and the buttons all work. But none of the analog axis is working. When set to debug mode, the last 9 bits are always 00. Is there something else in the setting I need to set?

@walmis I've printed and fitted an 11 degree version of the throw limiter (thanks for making it available!). After running the auto calibration I'm finding the throw is shorter with master gain back at 100%. If I set master gain to 0% the throw reaches the newly calibrated full deflection. I haven't checked if it's related to a particular force effect yet, only master gain after I noticed the shorter throw.

Hey, check out the Force comp.Force comp. parameter, it should help with this issue. Recommend to try the Rhino defaults.

Yeah, it seems like that might be the best case, at least for me. Everything was working on the WW base before I transplanted it to the Rhino. Buttons works, but not the axis. Then, I went back to WW's base and recalibrated it and all the axis are working now. It could also be that I was working from a motor/pcb kit and had do the wire harness myself, and somehow that tripped the grip's memory during the whole process, so the calibration value had to be redone. In any case, I think it would be prudent to get the base.
