Best way to pre-render world for server use
So, i know there is a #Server side fork but for now it's not up to date and i want shaders. So i imported my server world in singleplayer with DH 2.0.4 and chunky then i guess i would fly around to generate LODS for DH. So my question is, what files do i need to give other players for the to use the DH LODS? What's the best way to do this? Thanks.

You neither need chunky, nor fly around. Just set DH render distance high enough, make sure you're not paused and afk. You can press F3+P to be able to tab out without pausing mc

In the f3 menu there is a line on the right side, that says something like this:

. When it says 0/0 (in progress 0)

I've been doing the same, I had bobby on server, pasted the chunks in singleplayer world and used DH with 1024 radius. I stopped the generation and the file was 170gb so that was pretty heavy x)
But it definitely works

My 32000x32000 blocks world takes about 50gb disk space. How large is your world, that it takes 170gb for LODs alone?

50GB for that size sounds like you used 2.0.3 or 2.0.4 which compress the data. 2.0.2 doesn’t so it takes way more space

So i'm trying to generate a 1024 radius. I'm using the world of the server in single player mode. My question is: can i keep the server online so that people can play meanwhile? Does it matter if they alter the world while i'm still generating the "old" one i saved? Thanks.

If they alter the world then the LODs won’t be entirely accurate

But the mismatch will be updated when they load that chunk, right?

Great, thanks. It takes a lot of time to generate it, if the mismatches can be fixed then i can do it in multiple go and leave the server on.
Another question: do i have to be in the nether in order to generate LODs for it or can i stay in the overworld and DH does everything regardless?
