I'm trying and struggling to enable secure boot on my laptop (asus g14 2022). I have the key enrolled properly to my knowledge (saw the mokutil screen on reboot), but secure boot is in "setup - not active" mode. The only other options available to me are "restore factory keys" and to enroll my own through the bios. I've tried "restore factory keys" which enables it but makes bazzite unable to boot. Is there anything I can do?

make sure that's on not, can't enroll your own

if the ujust works on your reboot you should see a MOK enrollment screen

Fixed it. I ran

mokutil --reset

mokutil --reset

and rebooted, then rebooted again and enabled secure boot, and now it says it's enabled with

mokutil --sb-state

mokutil --sb-state

Does Bazzite use wayland by default? Just thinking about maybe giving it a go because I may have just blown up my main fedora install by complete accident by running a dnf update when I didn't know my system had a loose dimm in it and oops, whole filesystem is now corrupted

Also why would I want to use Bazzite over say, stock silverblue? Can I just get all the bazzite stuff on silverblue technically?
