Magain this morning on turning on the PC, my profile balance spring settings are all changed to linked and 20%........
TAre you clicking apply or are you clicking store? If you click apply it’s temporary and will revert. You should hear two chirps from the board when clicking store. I usually click both apply and store for good measure.
DYou're sure you don't load a specific profile at startup ? Settings menu (VP config app)
DBecause you're issue is strange ! A file/folder don't modify itself (but because update/writing or thing like that)

WI wasn't able to reproduce it - so it's probably like @Dracks said - my guess is telemFFB is configured to load a FFB profile on startup?

MI found that telemFFB is loading a version of a config, so changed that. What was strange was that the version it loads has no effects boxes ticked, in the balance spring section, which is greyed out, I can see the settings are all at 20%. So when it loads that config, it also somehow checks the box to make balance spring section active.
MHowever, my stick motors did need re setting again today, I have reduced by 5% the suggested setting, but it is obviously not doing the trick......any ideas?
RThat "outage" if u mean this, happens regularely for me. I changed the wall outlet for the supply without any effect. Trying different USB next.

WHmm, do those faults happen on idle or during spring forces? Which ones are you hitting the red stop button and resetting and which happen randomly? Do you have the latest firmware b12 installed?

RWeird issue. My lights on the virpil constellation grip came on, they've been off since swapping to rhino, how do I turn them back off. Also the grip is no longer found the virpil software.
ODo you mean the constellation grip attached to the rhino or the constellation plugged in as well as the rhino? If the latter have you tired differnt usb ports. Virpil can sometimes not play well with usb3
RThey most of the time happen on low demand situations. Yes, b12. And to reset I push the stop button and unlock it again. If I unlock it too quickly it acts like it's not ready to start up again. But it always recovers its functions.
IHey guys. I'm loving my pre-built Rhino except for the fact that I'm using a 200mm virpil extension with tm F/18-18 grip (heavy af and lots of leverage) so I would like more force. If I buy a set of the 86BLF motors how much change to the housing would I need to make? I have a meanwell 12v 50amp psu coming in to try increasing the power a bit to the 57BLF's, but I know there isn't much headroom for them before they start to overheat.

HThe housing is longer. Width is the same. @SR-FWinger[73]_David has one kit left in stock with a fully build laser sinthered gimbal. I'm using it for my monster rhino and it works beautifully

TI can’t comment on how much the power supply will make a difference but you would want a 24V and most people for DIY kits are getting the 14.5 amp meanwell LRS-350-24
II have the Rhino, like it very much , but during long dogfights, the stick forces just fade away, how hard would it be to upgrade to the more powerfull motors and install them on my current RHINO?
HIf you are planning going to 86 motors you'll need to change the base. It's not that hard.
SI am having trouble with the F-18 the stick can not stay in center and now i can not enable autopilot. Any advises here?
SI increased a little the balanced spring
RJust give it a bit deadzone and adjust your static force or balance spring until its centered. Also update to the latest build 1.017b12.
RThats what I use currently. Note I use the sticky option for Spring, so I can override the ingame ffb, which I have switched off.

FYour pot1 is at 0.8%. If you have it assigned to spring gain then you have no spring force to center it. You can see if it's assigned to something in the settings tab under Pot#1 function.
FAlso friction is very high. A screenshot of your settings tab would help.

FYou would have to see if telemffb has that setting in the aircraft's profile.

NThere are no endstop settings in TelemFFB, but you can use the Dynamic Configurator Profile Assignement feature to push a profile when a specific aircraft is loaded.
FMaybe static force is getting in the way. I would disable it and then make sure you calibrate the balance spring well.
Cdoes anyone know why telemffb may not be recognizing or reading inputs from my VKB MCG?
ICan I buy a base for when upgrading the motors? Or I need to make it?
