External displays

Hey guys! first time using bazzite. I've been wanting to turn my old Predator helios 300 (3060 laptop gpu 6 gb vram, intel 11800H cpu, and 16 gb ram) into a gaming console for my tv. I have tried the official guide to connect an external monitor and it still refuses to use the TV as the main monitor. I've found this issue very annoying and I would love to have someone help and guide me through this. Thanks!

weird keybind override + alt tab lock

im not sure if this is the correct channel to be asking this but im running into some weird overriding issues with my key inputs when using certain programs along with some games perma locking aka preventing from alt tabbing or using borderless window to interact with two monitors. Basically when using an app that has key binds set to use alt+w/s it instead acts like im pressing shift w/s. the locked game is titan quest anniversary edition. Unable to boot into bazzite

Im trying to install monoboot bazzite and during installation i specify to reclaim all parts of my main c drive (my goal is to overwrite windows and only have bazzite, as i'll VM win later) but after finishing install whenever I boot it just goes into windows recovery. What is happening?

Question about inactive requests during system update.

It appears that during my attempt to install Windows 11 Pro into a Linux VM, I attempted to fix an error I was seeing regarding Windows 11 install requirements notably the TPM. I, mistakenly assumed, that the needed modules were not installed when in fact they already were. So, my question is, how do I remove these inactive requests when attempting to do a system update?

I think i messed with Waydroid to the point of having it not working

I am new to Bazzite, I am aware of a few basics for the terminal and i switched from W 10 to Bazzite with my NVIDIA RTX 3090 with multiple monitors So i was aware that Waydroid was installed but upon trying to boot it up it asked me for an address of sorts which i tried to follow a guide on youtube but it ended up getting constantly stuck with the app just being on a black window screen with the error sound constantly playing on infinite loop and nothing else happening until i terminated the process myself I tried to look up if i can maybe re-install the app entirely to try again and i think i ended up deleting some portions so now the app just kinda goes blank upon trying to boot it up......

Bazzite w/Intel Arc B580

I'm the rare one, I have Bazzite in a dual boot system. (Gotta use Virtual desktop to trick VR to work and any games blocking proton) Runs great except two main things Number 1: The Bazzite shop doesn't work, it will load glitched severely then crash. Getting around this using terminal instead. Number 2: The default terminal does the same thing the shop does. I got around this by using Konsole. ...

games crash with gamescope/scb

unsure if this is specifically a bazzite issue, but gamescope is causing all games to crash (steam, heroic, etc). i realise i'm not the only one out there running into this, sorry for piling on - but so far havent managed to find the cause or solution. this started ~week ago; thought it was update related, but now i'm not so sure. anyone out there have any ideas?

Install Bazzite

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I am currently using Windows, and I am planning to set up a dual boot system: one operating system will be Baazzite, and the other will be a Linux distribution that I have not yet chosen, for purposes other than gaming (office work, watching videos, etc.). Except that for games, I'm not sure I fully understand how to install a non-Steam game with Lutris, and I've also heard about Heroic, so I'm asking for your help on this! Thanks in advance....

Ethernet no longer working on steam deck after enabling iwd

I tried running the just for enabling iwd and that immediately broke Ethernet support on my deck. Wether it's the valve dock or a USBC Ethernet dongle the deck doesn't detect it anymore I've tried rebooting and disabling iwd through the just with no luck...

GPD G1 EGPU

Has anyone tried using the GPD G1 with the Legion Go (or i guess any handheld) with bazzite? Have you been able to get the egpu to detect and display on external monitors in game mode? Ive seen there are issies with that. Just wondering what others have experienced. Just bought a GPD G1 and planning to use it on Legion Go 2

How do I set up dual GPU on Lenovo Legion 5?

New user here. I just installed Bazzite on my Legion 5 and I'm having difficulty figuring out how to set up an "optimus" with the iGPU and dGPU. Is there a best practice for achieving this? OS: Operating System: Bazzite 42 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5...

Rebase to nvidia-open, this isn't the correct image. ROG Ally X Bazzite desktop mode virtual keyboard focus issues + battle.net login

So I just installed Bazzite and whenever I hold down the armory crate button to enter desktop mode everything is fine until I pull up the virtual keyboard keyboard with the M2 button (left back pedal). When I try typing this way the button presses register on the keyboard but it doesn't actually type anything into the text box. I tried installing battle.net but when time came to log in, I pulled up the keyboard and entered controller mode but doing so removes focus from the battle.net window so typing doesn't do anything, and whenever I try to refocus on battle.net the keyboard closes. Is it a config problem on my end maybe?...

N100 / Hardware Acceleration

Hello everyone, I wanted to use the Bazzite operating system on an N100 Mini PC, exclusively for cloud gaming, as I like the menu/controller navigation. Unfortunately, I am experiencing an issue where the hardware acceleration of the N100 is not active on YouTube, Xcloud, and GeForce Now. I believe it is due to the Intel drivers or the Flatpaks. System settings are not saving.

I have a keyboard with QUERTZ and not QUERTY, so I change it to my language. That part works fine and dandy, but after I shutdown the computer and later on start it again. The settings are resetted and I need to change it again. How can I let the computer not reset my settings??? I consider this a bug and idk how to fix this. I have a KDE interface....
