Z-Tilt Calibration - Gantry crash into endstop every time

Hey, build up the V-Core 4 500 Idex and calibration makes problems. The Gantry crash into the endstop while Z-Tilt homing. Normal Homing is working very well....

Problem solve pulley system

Is there a way to problem solve the pulley system? What components are driving the pulley system? Can it be factory reset somehow?...

First prints, on the 2nd layer printer goes crazy

New VCore 500 Hybrid (but haven't installed the additional belts yet). Motion seems fine - can Home, Z Tilt, toolhead moves as I direct it no problems. Tried printing the first layer test in the commissioning guide; works fine. ...

"Nothing to do: Z Offset is 0"

I have issues with the firmware as it does not Save my Z Offset. I am trying to Calibrate the Z offset with a piece of paper as we all do i assume and then i hit the blue button "Save Z Offset". The console is printing out as the title shows "Nothing to do: Z Offset is 0" even tough i have another value than 0. Also the SAVE CONFIG up in the right corner does not appear anymore....

Massive Layer shift after 2 hours

Starting last week I've started having significant issues with the X axis of T0 on my V-Core 4 500mm IDEX printer. I'm getting a huge layer shift and it's very clear that the toolhead is no longer properly homed after a couple of hours mid-print. After cancelling the print, and it going to the park location, it's no longer on the ooze guard. I heard a grinding sound coming from the carriage rail bearing for T0 several days ago. I disassembled the toolhead to see if there was something in there. I've cleaned the rail, and it seems to move ok, but I'm still concerned that there's a bearing issue. Could that be responsible here?...

Y layer surface only on X axes movements

Hey on my vcore 4 hybrid I have strange inconsistencies on the Z layer however this only happens on larger objects and only in front and back face. The left and right face is perfect.
I'm pretty sure it is not related to belt tuning. As this does not occur on some objects.
The printer is open and I do see a lot of movement/ vibration on the printer. I have 3 VCORE 3 printers and these are thanks no vibrations at all. However the VCORE 4 does not have corner brackets or maybe it is the different bigger rubber feet that give te illusion the printer is less sturdy. ...
Solution:
Hey found the issue and did the first clean print . I tightened alle the screws in the print head. There was a minor wobble in the printhead. So unscruwed the extruder and the pheatus retightened all screws and put things back together. First print is a succes. Finally....

ORBITOR FILAMENT SENSOR

vcore4 idex, hooked up orbitor filament sensors on each toolhead. T0 seems to work and heats the nozzle and loads the filament. But T1 doesnt. Just showing green light, without filament, and blinks blue when i push button but nothing happens. I got the code from github and for T1 i just used the example of T0 but changed it to T1. file attched if anyone has time to check it out. cheers

I can't make the bed mesh

Hi, I had to change a motor because the bearing was damaged but now I can't make the bed mesh. And now it seems as if the motors want to go in opposite directions but only when making the bed mesh. Plssss helppppp 😭...

EBB42 disappears

I've got a bit of an odd issue and wondering if anyone else has seen something like it. I have an EBB42 that periodically stops showing up (in any way) as a USB device. I suspected the USB cable, but when this happens I can swap cables and even move it to different systems with no change (it doesn't show up). The only fix that I've found is manually putting it in DFU mode and reflashing it. After which it shows up, for an indeterminate period of time....

Calibrating machine guidance

Hello! I need someone to hold my hand for a bit when calibrating my machine for the first time. I have finished the "Configurator". And now i want to press all the blue buttons in order to get my printer ready for printing. ...

IDEX Part cooling fan not responsive

Hi all, just wondering if I have missed any potential troubleshooting points. The NIDEX fan for my T1 will not power up when the machine is activated. I take this as it is not getting any voltage and the problem exists (at this point) with the red and black connectors. Have checked the octopus with a multimeter and it is outputting 12V on the plug per the build guide. The cable is also outputting 12V to the connector but then I can't think of anything to check what the fan is recieving. I have t...

Lost communication with MCU 'toolboard_t0'

Have had consistent random occurrences of this error which is causing prints to fail. I have checked all crimps and verified they are good as well as going as far as soldering the fan wires which seemed to have helped initally but the lost communication errors persist. At a loss at what to do at this point, the printer is unreliable.

Vcore4 suddenly crashed and won't turn on anymore. -Printer is working again.

Was changing the filament when it suddenly the printer crashed and the fan went to 100% Tried doing a firmware restart but didn't help, did a power off and power on. now 2 LED are blinking on the BTT board anyone seen this before? It's seems to be stuck and never loads the firmware. Error solving: Tried to decouple the Raspberry....

The value 'T0' is not valid for MACRO

I saw an older thread with this error message with this answer "T0 command is only used for multi tool printers. You have installed the wrong firmware or added some mods." I am still clueless. I have updated everything and i have not change anything besides some slicer code. I need help to solve this matter....

VAOC Camera Not Working

The VAOC camera had been working for several days on my VC4 500mm IDEX. Yesterday, I finished a print, let the machine sit for ~1 hour, came back, and now whenever trying to access the camera I just get a perpetual spinning icon (first photo). I've already double checked all the connections, and made sure everything is connected appropriately. Running ls /dev/v4l/by-id/ on my pi results in the second photo (I have no other cameras hooked up to this machine). Attempting to flash it using the 3do firmware tool on a windows pc results in the third photo. I asked in the 3DO discord and they suggested I try flashing it on a PC without an integrated web, which I did and got the 4th photo (which is reporting the VAOC as the same type of camera my Pi was - SPCA2650)....

V-Core 3.1 Toolhead 1.0 Commissioning Klipper Error

I have a enclosed 300^3 that was working without issue with a LGX large gears and Mosquito Magnum installed. I recently upgraded to the new v1 toolhead (orbiter and Rapido) and added an EBB 42 v1.2 toolboard to the upgrade as well. Once wiring was completed I continually received a Klipper shutdown notice stating that the extruder temperature was out of bounds. Maybe are some existing files that need to be removed and recalibrated? I tried #uncommenting the extruder lines just to see if I coul...
Solution:
Thank you for the assistance. After many rabbit holes, I found the first and second resolutions needed. The first issue was an error in wiring. By following the v-core 4 wiring suggestions for a v-core 3.1 (https://ratrig.dozuki.com/Guide/12.+Electronics/250#s2629) I mixed up the cables between the thermistor and the heater, as they are miss colored in the directions. After resolving the wiring issue the error still occurred, but now showed as negative degrees Celsius. (note - the jumper was implace as suggested for this toolboard) After multiple attempts to override the extruder sensor, the sensor temperature remained sensing excessive heat or negative heat causing Klipper to shut down. The solution in this case was first to fix the wiring, and then followed by updating Ratos v2.1. After flashing my Rasp Pie and going through the configuration options setup, the extruder reads normal ambient temperature now....

Verify Heater suspected Thermistor error

After replacing my phaetus rapido hotend with the new version, the rapido hot end 2, the temperature reading is 159°C for the extruder when it's actually at ambient temperature. Also when i try to heat the extruder to 200°C i see the temperature droping before i getting a klipper shutdown with this message : Klipper reports: SHUTDOWN Heater extruder not heating at expected rate...
