PID tune not working

I have a RatRig Vcore 3 that I just updated to RatOS 2 from V1. It was a complete refresh and flash of the boards. btt 2240 v1 drivers giving error.

Unable to write tmc spi 'stepper_z' register DRV_CONF How do i make these work? RATOS config changed but still not working. ( dont understand why a config program doesn't config). Lots of posts about 2240's but no fixes posted....

Solution:

Have you tried moving drivers around to see if the error follows the driver? It might be defective

KlipperScreen broken after updates

After updating both Klipper Screen and Telegram bit are toasted… KlipperScreen is saying I need to update Python to 3.8, tried to update manually but the update did not stick… any suggestions?

Back Z Motor error

Hello, my issue is when I home the Z axis the front two motors go up like they’re supposed to, but while the back Z motor goes down. When I go up or down after setting the kinematic zero, all three are going in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Rapido 1 - Is my hotend dead or just wires and terminals?

See logs. One is short and contains only a part before shutdown. The other is full log. I started getting Verify heater errors. I changed the wire leading to thermistor. Last night I got ADC out of range - hotend exceeded 300 °C after 10 seconds of no power going in (at least I think the logs are per second?). I'm gonna re-crimp Rapido Thermistor wires, just because it's the last connection not serviced this week. ...

jammin is NOT okay, man. (filament regularly jams in heat break)

This is an ongoing problem with my VC 3.1 x 400. Filament gets jammed in the heat break and the only way I can get it to print again is usually to ram a hot metal rod down the filament path. A recent rebuild of the print head (Eva 3) cleared it up for a few days, but it has now resumed being a PITA....

Noisy and jamming y rails after installing titanium tube

Hello. Do you have any tips on how to adjust the Toro axle correctly so that it runs smoothly and nicely and quietly without any ball noise? I managed to adjust the old original rail, which is why the two Y rails have to be parallel and I don't think I need to adjust them. But it seems to be jamming like this. If one side is loose then it runs better and more quietly but still not optimally. Where is the best place to loosen and tighten screws? Is the Toro titanium tube possibly jammed or twiste...

Z Probe issues

heya, so Im currently investigating weird behavior of my printer where seemingly out of nowhere i cannot home it. Im using Pinda wired to the octopus 1.1 board and I checked the pins at the end of it to see if by any chance there wasnt any wire damage but no, signal at the end when not triggered and lack there of when triggered. it happened after I adjusted the configurator so perhaps I wrote something wrong, the board doesnt respond to changing the state of the probe as if it was disconnected/defined incorrectly. I'll appreciate any feedback....

Bed Mesh, Beacon and Bed Issue

Hello! Some background: I received my VC4-500 kit with one of the bed posts not drilled properly. Talked to the folks at RatRig on discord and they asked me to see if I’d be able to drill it through the rest of the way (it was somehow egg shaped) then run a bed mesh without sticking on the bed heater or plate magnet. (I’m not comfortable with where the balls sit in the POM holders but that’s me) They said they’ll replace the bed if it’s a bad mesh. ...

Print wont start

Hello, I recently upgraded to new RatOS and am trying to start a print. When I try to start, Klipper seems to get stuck at "Homing Z". It goes through the homing process, but once that is done it sits here infinitely. I've let it hang for about 10 minutes. Please let me know if anyone has experienced this before or knows a solution....

Octopus v1.1 allows flashing to start, but reverts back to "Waiting For DFU..."

I am following the electronics setup for a v-core 4 IDEX. I am at the step where I need to flash the Octopus before proceeding. "Nothing to do: Z Offset is 0"

I have issues with the firmware as it does not Save my Z Offset. I am trying to Calibrate the Z offset with a piece of paper as we all do i assume and then i hit the blue button "Save Z Offset". The console is printing out as the title shows "Nothing to do: Z Offset is 0" even tough i have another value than 0. Also the SAVE CONFIG up in the right corner does not appear anymore....
