(Solved) Klipper problem? Slow button response and initializing after homing button clicked.

Yesterday printer was working fine. Switched of printer by browser first. Then switched off manually. Today a drama. When the printer is on and web browser is connected all seems OK although initializing takes more time then before....

MCU shutdown when homing (BTT octopus F446)

So I try to home my X-axis, but the MCU shuts down and I have to do a firmware restart. It did work on a previous install (RatOS on a CB1, screws up on a reboot), so Im trying to configure a standard klipper install (with klipperscreen). I did git-pull the ratrig configurations, and configured for the V-Minion, rooted out the errors I was getting. Has anyone ever wired one of these into the Ocopus

Has anyone ever wired one of these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004378719628.html into the Octopus 1.1 board? Probably should have checked compatibility before I purchased it. I see references to Duet boards on the project website https://orbiterprojects.com/orbiter-filament-sensor/ however nothing BTT related. By some miricle I have managed to successfully assemble/wire my RR500 without frying it and knowing my luck I will do this wrong.

Mesh Generation - No trigger on probe after full movement

On my new build, I'm getting a "No trigger on probe after full movement" during mesh bed calibration. The first assumption is that the probe isn't working at all, but it homes just fine. The sequence of events is as follows: 1. Home printer (g28) 2. Start mesh generation (BED_MESH_CALIBRATE PROFILE="default") 3. Flow issues

im having some extruder skipping at fairly low flow rates, i just switched to some polymaker polylite petg, and i can only consistently hit 25mm^3/s at 260c orbiter v2 and dragon UHF, is this a hardware problem, or does polymaker petg just not print fast?...

BTT Octopus changing Left stepper to Motor 3 or 4 port?

How do I change Left stepper to use Motor 3 or Motor4 four port to test and see if its a bad port or config on Motor 0?

The build from Hell continues

This time I replaced the control board with a new Octopus 429 and replaced both SD cards with brand new ones and started the entire install from scratch. Got thru the initial config where I installed VCore Three config and then hit the brick wall again with "mcu unable to connect".

Left Stepper Not Working

I am Discord dumb and don't really know how to do this. I am wiring my RRVC3 - 400mm. All three Z motors working fine. Right motor working. Left motor not working. Can't figure out why. Swapped cable from right to left and it moves so it is not a problem with stepper motor. Cable is good with continuity for each wire from BTT Octopus to stepper. New JST connectors put on all steppers with solid connection.

SKR 2 will not flash firmware

it won't load the firmware from the sd no matter what (formatted to fat32, 4kb cluster, tried multiple sd card sizes (2, 4, 64gb), tried changing file name to various things, tried with USB power and 24v power supply, unplugged everything from it, tried multiple compiles and ensured its for my 429 version, etc). What else can I try? The way I'm checking if the flash was successful is by seeing if firmware.bin changes to firmware.cur on the SD, which it does not....

Test end stop functionality after brief accidental reversal, + hotwires

Reversed my endtop wires at one end but it seems they needed reversing at both ends 😦 Noticed one of the cables was getting a little hot now I am concerned I have damaged the board or more specifically the end-stop circuitry. Is there a command to test the end stops?

Dear all I was changed to an Octopus, and last Marlin version, coming from an old small board, and just one step previous Marlin version, using 2 mm advance lead on Z axis, as before, and now this effect appeared, any idea?

Phaetus rapido heatbreak clogging

Hey all have a standard kit vcore 3 400 with a Pheatus hortend and lgx lite setup . Not even using the uhf part as I use the standard cooling fan duct . The printer is supposed to function 24/7 printing pla. However slowly but surely the heatbreak of the hotend is causing friction and therefore fillament flow is impacted. This is the worst because all seems to function but during the faster print part there is under extrusion.
Cleaning the heatbreak helps but after a while prints start getting underextrusion again an while batches get lost. ...

Ruby nozzle issues

Just installed a Ruby nozzle from trianglelabs. Trying to print Petg with it. But it looks like it stick to the nozzle or it melts, the top layer into the nozzle. Other issue ut might be that im thinking of if it leaks out betweeen the nozzle and Ruby. Anyone had this issue with a nozzle?? Or know any tips that i might try to check too se if I can solve it. Picture how nozzle look after a 2 hour print.

new x endstop always triggered

I double checked the wiring by making sure the red and white wires weren't reversed and in line with the wiring diagram. But when I Query the endstops x is reversed. Is this my doing or is it the endstop?

TMC 'extruder' reports GSTAT 00000001 reset=1(Reset) after 20 hours of print (again)

I posted a very similar error before in the old fix-my-printer channel two days ago, but after orient the fan slighty to the steppers to improve the temperature, it gave me this error and stopped suddenly again.
