I just don't understand how to launch with gamescope.

I am looking to play a game with HDR and that requires Wayland, Plasma 6, an HDR display, Gamescope and ideally just a launch option (--hdr-enabled). How do I launch a game with Gamescope? I see the Gamescope tab in game settings but all it has is upscaling (The game has more up to date upscaling anyway) and FPS limits neither of which I want to use and seem to cause problems.

Sleeping Dogs won't download from GOG (log attached)

Hey everyone, trying to download Sleeping Dogs on Heroic, the download is queued but never begins downloading. Log is attached. Closing app and rebooting machine did not solve the issue.

Genshin Impact launcher not opening from HGL

Hello, I am currently on Debian 12, using AMD Ryzen 7 with Radeon Graphics. I installed the Genshin Impact via legendary cli before HGL and tried to run it. Worked without a problem until login screen puzzle. I couldn't able to see any button or thing to touch for login screen puzzle. I decided to run via HGL and wine-ge, logged in to my epic account and imported Genshin Impact directory HGL didn't gave any error and when I tried to run, created a prefix without a problem BUT I couldn't able to...

Civ IV, Epic Games Store edition - Wine DX11 crash?

Hello, I am trying to run Civ IV via Heroic, but it keeps crashing with this message even before loading anything on screen:

Sid Meier's Civilization VI (DX11) - No compatible graphics device found. Please ensure that your system has a correctly configured, compatible graphics device.

all my games from the other category will not launch at all

all my games from the other category will not launch at all after updating from heroic 2.9.3 to 2.13.0 and its just the other category any of the games in my epic games and hog work fine but when i try to launch any game from the other category its says launching but then it resets...

can't start any game from GOG

Hi! I am recently installed Linux Manjaro und wanted to try Heroic. However, I am not able to start any game that I downloaded from GOG. It doesn't matter if I choose the Windows or Linxu version. Linux games just won't start at all (I just see the play button becoming yellow and back to green), as for Windows games I see dosbox opening and closing again after maybe a second. So far, I removed Heroinc and WINE (that I have installed stand alone before) and reinstalled it, without a change. If I download the games directly from gog and install the windows version via WINE, they are good. The problem only exists when trying via heroic....

Fortnite not playable due to high lags in lobby

Hi, so i installed Fortnite on my gaming laptop Lenovo Legion 5 Pro which has ryzen 7 and 32GB RAM. I not chose directx 12 and shaders plus task manager also dont show any unusual system load. only option iselected is the german language pack. Would appriciate any help there

fixing default wine path

Hi, whenever I launch a game I get the the following error. On desktop mode, it’s fine I can just click yes, but in game mode, I have to change the controller layout to keyboard and mouse so I can click since the touchscreen doesn’t work for some reason at that point. Running Fortnite on Arch Linux

Hello, i just bought a Gaming Laptop (Lenovo Legion Pro 5) which had Windows 11 installed, i personally don't like Windows 11 so i now successfully installed Archlinux with KDE Plasma Xorg. I then downloaded heroic games launcher and wanted to install Fortnite, i then noticed an anticheat popup error and i was woindering, if there is a way for me to still install it and get it running, maybe with some parameters? I would appriciate any help. If it won't work under any circumstances, i probably need to make a windows vm or dual boot, but i wont switch back to windows and replace my arch install just to play fortnite, i spent a good chuck of money in fortnite so i like to continue playing it....
