Server keeps crashing upon world generation

Title gets to the point. I'm using 12-16GB of ram allocated, and everytime I join, after a few minutes, my server gets overloaded (60s timeout) and crashes. Seems to happen after empty chunks are forced. Any fixes? https://mclo.gs/stvqhuV...

Pregen just downright not working

I must either be really dumb or there is something weird going on here. I have 2 servers each on 1.21.8 with version 10 of the dhs plugin. The plugin appears to be working fine on both server except for one small issue. The pregen commands appear to literally be doing just about nothing. Ex: I type in "/dhs pregen start world" in either the server terminal or in game and they appear to work as normal. However, when I run "/dhs pregen status world" no progress is reported. Border Fog

Hi everyone! Looking to see if someone might be able to help me please. Recently installed DH and the Complimentary Unbound shader pack. For some reason I am not getting the Fog at the end of the render distance. Not really a big fan of the cut off look with the chunks and would really like the fog to be there instead. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Does this mod not work with embedium

i had to disable most things in adanced - graphics - generic rendering

DH wont use my properly utilize my cpu, how do I fix this?

it wont load anything beyond like 50 blocks or so, and I dont know why.

DH + shader issue.

I am having an issue with shaders flickering on water, only happens when DH is enabled.

Black screen / last frame from singleplayer world after joining to a multiplayer

Everything you can see at the videos. - If I launch Minecraft and then join to multiplayer -> black screen - Turning off "Enable Rendering" in DH config page -> everything is fine - Joining singleplayer with "Enable Rendering" - Leaving singleplayer and joining server -> I see last frame before leaving singleplayer world...

Help Me, PLIS!!!

I've used CHunky to render 5,000,000 chunks. However, when I activate DH without shaders, it turns black (as seen in the screenshot). The image returns when I activate shaders (Bliss, a version that works), but it gets this error, bugging everything, and it also won't render the loaded map at all. What could it be? It was working so well yesterday, and now it's like this. Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 (Latest from CurseForge, it's a modpack). Oh, I have Alexs Cave, but I don't know how to configure him either....

File does not match expected size

Hey I have a problem with Distant horizons, I am trying to install wynncraft LOD but it will allways show me some error every time its some random file size. Anything I could do about it?
Solution:
This isn't a DH command, you can try asking WynnCraft about this error If you want to download LODs DB separately, you need to download the file and put it in the correct folder...

DH LODs not generating, issue related to Oracle Cloud VM lacking perms to read/write in directory?

Distant Horizons LODs are either not generating nor loading in new chunks. The ones which were generated when the world file was on a LAN server do render properly, but those which were not after the migration of the world to the dedicated server (on an Oracle Cloud Virtual Machine) do not. It just stopped rendering LODs, I didn't change anything but now it didn't load anymore and the ETA didn't change since like 20 minutes. My CPU is also only using 5% for MC now

FOG gliches, black world edge

So Im running Distant Horizons on Forge 1.20.1 and the FOG mod causes this black bar/edge in my screen when im standing on the ground, when I fly up it will dissapear. This only occurs in the night

Need of a specific version

Hello! I come from a reddit post recommending to use a certain version of dh (DistantHorizons-forge-2.3.0-a-dev-1.20.1 ( Jobs #8273735297)) for it to work with a modpack I'd love to play but I cannot seem to find it anywhere so I assumed the discord server would be the best place to ask!

Semi Broken LOD generation in imported chunks.

After pasting some chunks from an old world (using MCA Selector) into my server those pasted chunks look like this when seen through distant horizons. As you can see none of the original chunks have any issues (they are the higher terrain in the top left). I even completely deleted the data.sqlite file from the server and the distant_horizions_server_data folder from the client. However, neither of those seemed to have any effect. Well, I found a solution. I selected the whole broken area with WorldEdit, ran //set grass_block, then //undo.

I want to make them look normal in close/mid range so they won't become lego bricks.
Solution:
2 options: 1. Increase render distance so that further objects are rendered normally, or 2. Add flowers to list of blocks to ignore and don't have them rendered in LOD. LOD can only render objects as full blocks, so there can only be workarounds for this situation....

Terrain Fading With Shaders

Modpack: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/blood-and-steam As seen by the images, when I get close to some terrain it fades into invisibility. Eventually the terrain comes back, or you can make it render by backing up a ways. Turning off shaders (Complimentary: Reimagined +Euphoria Patches) fixes this entirely and prevents the terrain from fading out like that. The problem I have is that this modpack is going on a server, and the modpack also contains jetpacks. While the jetpacks are locked into the late game (post Ender Dragon fight, and I've incorporated some dimension progression to make getting to the End harder), I still see this becoming a problem once people actually get jetpacks/Elytras and start exploring unloaded chunks, only to fall through the world or what have you. Also, I imagine this same problem will affect Valkyrien Skies airships as well once I add it to the modpack (waiting on compatibility with Create 6.0)....

How can I get rid of this annoying pixelation on the water LODs

Im playing on the better adventures+ modpack and im trying to use DH but i wait 30 mins or so for the world to render and the water looks pixelated or looks like it has grain on it and its really annoying and doesnt blend in. I've tried to remove certain mods, and mess around with some of the basic settings of DH and nothings changed yet can anyone help?

Help with setting up shaders to have real chunks smoothly transition into LOD chunks

Hi, I'm in my 2 weeks Minecraft phase and I've seen the latest update to this mod, the one that makes the transition between real and fake chunks smoother. This was my main issue with this mod (and it is with many games that have bad LOD pop in), so you can imagine how happy I was to see it being solved like this, I tried it and it looks so much better. Then I did my research and found that this feature doesn't work with shaders, because it depends on the shader devs to make it to work, and many haven't done it yet. My first question is: does anyone have an updated list of the few that do work? LOD data sends to player only after self present in chunks

Hello! Im using DH 2.3.4-b, MC 1.20.1, latest Forge release on client & server. After generating 312 chunks radius on server, using /dh pregen start minecraft:overworld 0 0 312, im faced with not receiving LOD data by player on unexplored chunks by self. More on the screenshot: Firstly, i were there (1), near 500 1000, then tp to 0 0, an faced with levitating region without any LOD around it and my current location. I fly above some chunks (2), and there i can see LOD correctly. (?) How to receive LOD on chunks, where player was not by himself?...
