Side up/down arrow not functional in Search

Hi all, looking for some help or maybe a bug report. im on Android phone with Immich 1.140. i noticed in the "Search" tap / mod, the arrow on the side is not working. it works in the timeline. anyone else experiencing the same?

Enable auto-sync of photos only when connected to a specific Wi-Fi network

Hi, I’d like to ask if it’s possible to introduce (or configure) an option for automatic photo synchronization only when connected to a dedicated Wi-Fi network. In my case, I have my Immich server available only in my local home network. Auto-sync currently tries to run on any available Wi-Fi, but when I’m not on my home network the process fails with an error (it can’t find my Immich instance). That’s why it would be really useful if syncing could be limited to a specific Wi-Fi SSID....

LXC Immich randomly experiencing IO Pressure Stall

Since at least a few days, LXC container with Immich randomly experiences IO Pressure Stall. As soon as this happens, all other containers and VMs shows as unknown on my Proxmox host. After that, the Immich UI will eventually open but would not render any photos. The container cannot be killed through various known methods (immich_server Docker cannot be shutdown as well at that time) and the only way to get it back is to hard reset the entire Proxmox node. Reduplicate Deleting Wrong Files

I have over 5k duplicates after migrating an old instance. I'm trying to use the "Reduplicate All" which states it will delete the smaller files and only keep the largest file, but when I run the job, it's moving the larger files to the trash and keeping the smaller files in the library. Is there a trick I'm missing, or is it a bug? ...

How can i debug a file that wont upload

I have quite a few (around 60ish) images that for whatever reason refuse to upload. Most of them are PNG images, there does not seem to be any problems with the image themselfs they work properly in all other programs i can try to use them on. The errors shown in the web console dont appear to be helpful as to why, and there is nothing in the docker logs. How can i attempt to figure out whats going on with these particular images?

Just got started homelabbing: Cannot get Immich to work anymore (with NPM)

Hi, I'm getting into self hosting and things were going quite well, but now I can't get Immich to work properly. It used to work fine, but then I started dicking around with VPNs for torrenting and suddenly I couldn't do anything anymore. Crash upon thumbnail generation

Hello all i am running the latest version (1.140.0) and have encountered the issue from 1.139.2 where any media no matter the format has a issue upon thumbnails being generated i have tried uploading assets via the web, mobile and external storage and all of them cause the server container to crash, other assets that i have uploaded in the past have not had this issue. Proxmox Immich Lost Admin PW

I accidently deleted my admin PW in my PW manager, and now I can't get into the admin account on my immich. I have immich installed on proxmox and the "immich-admin reset-admin-password" just returns "-bash: immich-admin: command not found". I have searched all over and can't find what to do. I am running this from the console of the immich container in proxmox. is there another place to go? I figure I am "attched" to the container as when I go in it says "root@Immich:~#"...

Single image from external library not showing up

Update

I'm on immich 1.36.0 on casaos... I want to update. I see a breaking change about upload_location or something like that and it's not in my docker compose at all. Anything I need to do for it to update properly and be clean/ready for upcoming updates and not have junk or be missing anything?

Delete from immich webUI does not remove the actual file on disk

Hi, I am new to Immich. I uploaded my photos and video to Immich. I use the storage template so the photos and video are saved on my external harddrive under folder e.g. (.../library/admin/2018/2018-06/). I deleted a few video from immich web ui and also empty the trash. I cannot see those video anymore in web ui, however, those deleted video are still exist in the file directory. Need to get the upload folder ONLY on a bind mount

I need the actual full sized photos on a bind mount - not sub folders or empty folder. Custom folders dont really do the job completely.
