[2022-04-13 07:11:25 AM] : What are some good examples of SaaS companies that launched done-for-you/done-with-you services to go along with the tool? I've recently launched a 90-day transformation program for DTC brands bleeding $ on FB ads and am looking for feedback/best practices on how other companies do it.
Generally, any feedback on the offer is also welcome!...

[2022-04-11 10:29:32 PM] : Btw, I just opened enrollment and I already learned a few lessons (mistakes):
• Using ConvertKit I need to MANUALLY schedule each launch email rather than put them in an automated launch sequence. The timezones are messed up and matching the intervals between emails (especially at closing where they're too close) gives me headaches. So the automation should come later.
• The course was for a small portion of my audience, but I sent the launch sequence to the entire list, so I only had 25-28% open rates and probably annoyed some subscribers with irrelevant content
• I think I may have made this a bigger deal than it actually is. I took the advice to increase the price of the product, but I think I should've gone through the volume route first because I can always increase the price later once I've updated it (and the emails) to a more polished version
• I may have made the product prematurely, because I have exhausted only a single watering hole using just a few keywords and didn't incorporate any of my survey data in doing safari...
how does that look l
[2022-04-11 10:16:32 PM] : how does that look like? I, too, have different audiences. But with the amount of work I'm foreseeing in writing multiple launch sequences and setting up coherent opt-ins on the website to segment these audiences, I feel like I should stick more to "just shipping" right now even though personalized launches would result in more sales

[2022-04-09 05:52:15 AM] : So I did my Safari and it was great — I just sent out my launch sequence for my new product and the actual launch window is on April 11. Now I'm in a bit of an existential crisis...I've got a ton of survey responses (and I mean a TON) -- what do I do with them? Is it best if I just discard them? If I could use them, how?
Full context: I have 4 questions and I asked these to my existing readers: (300 out of 1400 answered)

Sharing a small win
[2022-04-02 01:45:26 AM] : Sharing a small win (March 30):
• I sent an ebomb and usually I don't get as much replies for my emails, but this ebomb I made "how to commit formulas into memory" seemed to resonate with a lot of people. I received 5 or 6 replies, I think, and one said that I was able to read her thoughts  (ain't that safari magic??)
• I just briefly mentioned the new course without selling it, and one of my readers told me this (1st pic) — and so I replied to offer how I can expand the specific point she wanted, and also showed her the outline of the lessons if she wanted to ask on another topic.
• Her response (2nd pic) made me really happy and I thought it showed how I was able to nail down the outline of the lessons even vaguely... ...
I'm not sure if this
[2022-03-31 08:25:02 AM] : I'm not sure if this is a <#C9BQQFWTC|success-stories> or not, but my latest podcast hit a nerve. See reply in thread. I've emailed back but now trying to process this in terms of safari pain / worldview. Would welcome your views. Whilst I don't feel as strongly, the guy makes some fair points on the wider situation.
IMO there’s not real
[2022-03-27 10:40:36 AM] : IMO there’s not really a right or wrong way to share that stuff and i don’t believe it makes much of a difference how it’s shared, the more important thing is that it’s shared. for me this sort of thing falls into the “don’t overthink it” category!
<@U0LEYAVKP> maybe s
[2022-03-26 02:22:06 PM] : goshacmd maybe shifting perspective could help. I'm myself not very excited about the software developer audience in particular. But a specific problem of a subset of this audience is much more interesting to me. For me it's aspiring devs (esp self-taught) who struggle finding a job. They are often desperate, feel alone and in the dark. This is a pain that I can identify with and it brings me joy helping people in this situation. At least enough to get me motivated.
I think Stéfanni Brasil and Thiago Araujo also serve a developer audience in a more non-technical way with advancing in their careers.
What I'm saying is every audience has lots of different pains in different directions. You could think of beginner devs, advanced beginners (like I am), devs transitioning to management, team leads, ... Depends on your experience as well oc :slightly_smiling_face:...
i sort of fell out o
[2022-03-25 10:30:25 PM] : i sort of fell out of my 30x500 practice a few years ago due to moving to the US (which was stressful & put a whole new ring on what "pressures of capitalism" means). lost my primary source of income a few days ago, and not really looking to go back to trading time for money in a job/freelance context. sooo i'm looking to try and get back into 30x500 habits. the thing is... and i'm sure ADHD peeps will relate, the "audience" i'm in (and the one that i researched & made a product for with 30x500 initially) does not trigger "excitement" anymore and feels, in a way, depleted. and it's hard to make an ADHD mind do something that it doesn't inherently want to (and especially when the said mind is also low-key burnt out because of the job in that exact field). anyway, was anyone in the same boat before and if so, how did you spice things up? idk if i could go with another audience (bc decision paralysis but also bc i'm not a part of any other "professional" aka $$$ audience), but i also don't know if the audience i'm a part of (sw engineer basically) can start feeling exciting again
tldr did 30x500, then i didn't, looking to get back again now but the "old" audience is not what the adhd mind binds exciting anymore (burnout + familiarity), if you have been in my shoes, how did you approach this?...

<@U036HQ571NK> maybe
[2022-03-18 01:19:02 AM] : lnlrz maybe this points to a worldview of your own? I mean why does this trigger you so much? Why do you even have to get past it? I know these band-aid solutions but I guess there might be multiple reasons why people suggest them: they don't have time, they don't benefit (financially) from going deep and providing a real solution, they maybe don't know better.
All these are great opportunities for you: if you benefit from a good answer (financially) you can take your time. And if you're one of the few who are willing and capable of providing good solutions you might have an easy time establishing a reputation in your watering holes. If there's a question with bad answers you can politely point that out and provide a better solution. Like "there are some great approaches here but they might cause problem XYZ. Here is my solution that has the advantage ZYX."...
Quick thoughts from
[2022-03-17 11:58:28 PM] : Quick thoughts from my own experience.
1. Questioners have a hard time (or are lazy) explaining their pain well, what they’ve done, and where they’re stuck
2. Answerers don’t generally go out of their way to give adequate help and make sure OP’s pain is relieved
I think when you put both of these together you get irrelevant “band-aid” solutions. My mental state during watering hole participation is ignoring answerers and focusing on OP. I pick questions that seem to be thought out. If anything, when someone gives a bad solution it boosts my confidence in my ability to understand and fix pain....

[2022-03-15 12:42:47 AM] : Curious: I have customers that give me their thoughts on "Why did you choose to join [course] even though there's already a ton of free stuff out there?" — how would you put that to good use? (example: sales copy, positioning, course structure, etc.)
i think the takeaway
[2022-03-14 05:59:16 PM] : i think the takeaway lesson for me is: just know that i can’t predict what will perform well and what won’t, try not to feel hurt when a particular ebomb doesn’t perform well, and produce a large number of ebombs so i have a large number of at-bats. the number of failures doesn’t matter too much, just the number of successes
