I plan to wear this open with a white ribbed tank underneath. I have a pair of navy linen shorts. I am eager to learn about other ways to style this shirt - going for a very warm climate summertime outfit.
Suiting for big boys
So, I have basically totalled my nice suit by destroying the pants, but even before that I wasn't completely in love with it. My problem is that I'd love to have a suit that's roomy and wide. No more slim fit suiting for me. Every single suit I try on at second hand stores don't fit me thanks to my honkin 21" shoulders which is a bit annoying but we cringe on.
For inspo I look to vintage Armani suiting with the huge shoulders and very drapey pants.
So far SFC seems like the best bet, but I would love to get some more options. ...
Help my boot laces are sooooooo long
Hello, I got these boots they came with laces that are like unworkably long, I lace them up to the top and I still have to double knot them to get them to like not constantly drag on the ground. These are the laces that came with the boot so I assume they’re not just improperly sized, do I just snip them down to size with some scissors or is there some secret arcane technique for lacing or tying or something that I am lacking. Prom suit
Im in senior year of high school and prom is coming up soon and I was looking for a suit, I know it is last minute but I was hoping for some advice as to what to get from you guys. my budget is around 350 USD (not much more) and the stores in my small city arent really great. I got moores but that's pretty much it and I thought online would have better value. I was thinking of a more loose fitting suit as in older American style suits like this picture of Oppenheimer but with no vest. I just want to hear what you guys think I should do for it.

Why does this look bad? I want to go for a more minimal/thrifted look I guess, but my body proportions throw everything off. When I think I have an outfit figured out, it just doesn't look right

This is technically a "work shirt" that's 2 sizes too large for me. Can I just stick it over one or two other layers and use it as an overshirts?
Or is there something technically different about a work shirt/over shirt that makes it look stupid?

looking for recs that fit this summer vibe
Lots of my stuff is older, starting to break down so I'm slowly replacing stuff as it dies and am taking this opportunity to update my style from "shit i have had for years + random pieces i liked from tj maxx" to something more cohesive.
I love the way "mens clothes but for femmes" looks and i collected these inspo images over a couple weeks. I also used these images to kinda pick a color palette that i would enjoy wearing (though im totally cool going outside of)
mainly looking for search terms, like names of general clothing articles i can use for research, but am also down for brands who fit this vibe or even just more inspo pics. not strictly limited to mens clothes, either, though i'd like to stick 75-90% there....
