BAD Z Artifacts on new V Minion
Hello all. I have really bad Z Artifacts on a newly build V Minion. I've checked the lead screw a couple times and got it as square to the frame and as straight as possible (even used some 3D printed tools) and it doesnt seem wiggle at all when going from Z0 to Z180. Halp!
can’t upload gcodes
I’m having trouble getting my gcode files to upload no matter what I try any tricks or maybe tips on how to get it to upload anymore
Temp tower with no real difference?
I just got a new filament (PrimaSelect PLA Chameleon), did some simple tests that looked good (at 205c) then printed this temp tower which didn't turn out very well and doesn't say so much too me so was hoping some more experienced person could help me a bit 🙂
The marks on the back side, see on the top (colder) parts, what are those and did they show only due to the lower temp?
How about the stringing? I had retraction set to 0.5mm....

How to adjust? Continue to increase the line width of the first layer?
Cura 5.3.0 generating bad gcode
I have formatted my pc and I used the opportunity to upgrade Cura from 5.1.0 to 5.3.0
I tried to import my config backup but I was getting errors so I created a new profile from scratch for my v-core 3.
Now when I'm slicing in Cura and Importing the gcode to my printer its seems like its printing the file inverted or trying to print only the infill.
Its coming out flimsy and full of holes, to make sure I'm not losing my mind I recalibrate my printer and even replaced the nozzle to a brand new one and I'm getting the same thing....
how do I fix this uneven top layer?
Looks over extruded, but bottom layer looks fine. What shall I adjust?
What causes these random lines?
These lines occurs randomly, and it's not Z banding. I tested with a consistent object and no banding, so these lines are definitely extrusion related. They also seem to be affected by the features on the parts.
I use Orbiter 2.0 extruder. This is eSUN PETG....
What's causing these "hair" strings?
I've played around with different retraction tests but I can't get rid of this. What am I missing?

Need help dialing things in.
So now that I have most of my HW issues solved, I am focusing on the filaments and the print quality. My edges are the absolute worst. Anything at a 45° angle looks like garbage left out in the sun. The top layer is about as smooth as a dirt road in rural Africa. And I get a lot of those bits and bobs everywhere. Usually, after printing, I can find many of them either stick to my extruder or spread out over the bed. Ringing or ghosting is prevalent even after running multiple shaper_calibrate.
Suggestions?

hello, what is that horizontal pattern due to, I know that the vertical pattern is due to the overlapping of the fill, ignore that, I mean the horizontal pattern.

Random missing or under-extruded layers (clacking noise) as well as inconsistent extrusion issues
Why does this suddenly happen mid print? (Also the extruder starts clacking when it happens).
Printer:
V-Core 3 500.
Rapido UHF and LGX LITE.

First layer comes up perfectly, but I have speed limited to 50mm/s for it.
Speed is set to 120mm/s on the rest....
