Layer bulging
Hi folks,
I just noticed that my print shows severe layer bulging of individual layers.
I noticed that on this print, it only happens when there are no additional features like those screw holes and hooks. The bulged layers follow the entire perimeter around the object.
My setup ist:
- V-Minion...

Top infill not connecting with perimeters
I still have the problem that the infill isn't connecting with the perimeters. I fixed it for the first layer by lowering the nozzle, but for top layer I have no clue what could be the problem. I checked E steps and they are pretty much perfect I changed infill overlap to 55% which didn't do anything.so I'm a bit clueless now what the problem could be.

Out of Range Error on Large Print
I'm printing a big gridfinity base, and even though it should fit on the build plate (300x300), I'm getting an out of range error. I am using a blob, which may be moving the print, but I'm not sure what the best way to deal with this error is. I still have a bit of room on the edges on the build plate that looks usable.
I'd appreciate your thoughts in how to address this....

Two type of print quality on infill
I don't understand the problem
over the duports the infil is ragged on the top layers perfect
same speed 200mm/s

ABS Layer Adhesion
Hello,
I am trying to print ABS on my Minion.
It is "Nice ABS" from 3D Jake.
First Layer is great and sticks to the bed as hell....

Bad Surface with holes
I dont know which setting is wrong...
Never Had this Problem before, I think I have it only at this Part.
Normaly I Print with 0.2 mm layer height, in this Case with 0.05mm...

ripples in the top layer
Any idea what could cause this? 80mm/s 7 top layers underneath 20% infill, PETG, Vcore 500

bad surface on small layer heights
So im printing some PVB aka polysmooth and at 0.1mm layer height im getting a rough finish that might not be very visible but i can feel it

Infill not connecting with outer wall
I had this problem before on my ender 3 and I fixed it with a setting in prusaslicer, but I can't remember which setting it was.

wavy, artifact and layer shift
Hello, since I don't have as much experience with setting up the firmware of the 3D printer I figured I should ask for help.
I am using a VCore 3 500 with the old standard configuration at release including a V6 Hotend, Duet 3 Mini 5+ and Bondtech BMG.
My biggest problem are the waves in the print. They especially happen after corners and get better the longer it goes in a straight line. It also seems to overshoot the corners as seen in the logo....

long gaps before z seam
Hi, any idea what could be causing the gaps before external perimeter end points? It's strange that some of the seam points in the same area look ok to me. Maybe underextrusion, too high PA?
Running esun pla+ at 214
Settings in Prusa
nozzle 0.4, width 0.6, speed 140, fan (4028) 40%, external first.
extrusion multi 100%, PA 0.03, retract 0.3mm, retract speed 35, de speed 35, extra length on restart -0.1...

Seam problems
Hi there!
I'm trying to dial in my seam but unfortunately I'm stuck.
I still have a quite noticable seam although I (individually) tried various settings to the best of my knowledge (temp, retraction, seam gap, wipe, extra wipe).
To me it seems that the end of the final perimeter loop kinda bulges out a bit.
I'd be very grateful for some help. I'll attach a test .3mf to this post with my most recent test settings....
What is this?
So earlier today, I was thinking that I was having a Pressure Advance issue. I have since run many A PA test, tower and pattern method. It is tuned just right. I tried running with a factor of 0.0001 and also 0.0025. No joy. I still get these repeating artifacts along the edge. They are wavy, and cyclical, occurring every 8 layers or so I'd say.
Any ideas? Happens on 3 edges that are not the seam. If I print the seam in the middle of the part, happens on all 4 edges....

Fan Horns.. really could use some help, please.
Hey folks.. I'm still trying to dial in the settings for my rapido uhf with a 0.6mm nozzle..
My printing starts are as follow:
Filament: PETG...

seam parameters in prusa slicer
Does prusa slicer have more seam parameters somewhere? I would like to improve these seams. It doesn’t seem like there is much that I’m able to do. Any advice is appreciated.

Nozzle hitting print & poor adhesion
Troubleshooting Help:
My nozzle is hitting my prints and I'm having some poor adhesion w/ ASA.
Initially I was having some horrible adhesion problems which seemed to be somewhat remedied by deleting my bed mesh, washing the glass bed, and manually leveling the bed. I followed that up by running PROBE CALIBRATE and the PAPER TEST -again- I got the bed to 0.2175mm deviation/variance....

Stringing and "lines"
Hello,
I've been having this issue for some time now.
I tried different temperatures and retract and this issue is almost always present.
PETG in this case but it also happens with PLA. ...

Preheat bed required
This is more of a statement than a question - at least an observation on my vcore 3.1-500
For prints that cover the whole bed I noticed that if I start the print from a child bed, the first layer will be rough and messy in some areas. If I hear the bed for 10 minutes before starting the print out will be smooth.
What are your takes on this?...
Perimeters print fine. Infill breaks up.
So as per title, ASA, my perimeters print fine at 150mm/s. However, my infill at same width and speed breaks up. Any ideas?

Reverse Elephant foot..
Trying to print this small piece of Lego.. ..
I get what appears to be a taper or a "reverse" elephant foot in the first few layers.. I can't figure out what setting might be causing this.. I'm also seeing that the corners are rounded just so ever slightly..
In PLA, extruder at 210C, bed at 65.. nozzle is 0.6mm.. print speed is at 35mm/s with first layer speed at 20mm/s.. I've also played with the first layer compensation in superslicer.. initial value was -1mm so I put this to 0mm and things seemed to improve but very slightly.. I then further increased the layer compensation to 1 and then some but the problem seems to persist no matter what number I plug in there.. I thought at 5mm I would start to see an elephant foot but nope.....
