getting MCU error mid print
Hi I keep getting the following error mid print.
Klippy changed state to shutdown
MCU 'mcu' shutdown: Timer too close

unable to connect to MCU?
Ok.. i'm at a loss as to what happened and why. I have a Rat 500, all metal hotend and I printed 2 or 3 things yesterday, including mount for the BTT SFS V2.0. I hooked up the new SFS, plugged it in as shown in the document. All seem's good, the Dashboard showed the sensor and showed it had filament. I decided to check if I had any updates that were needed before starting a print...there were a couple so i applied them and now I can't get the pi to connect to the mcu, but yet, when i go to the http://ratos.local/configure?step=1 and in the upper right hand side and under Moonraker I choose flash all attached MCU's and it goes through and flashes and says successfuly flashed attached 1/1 mcu. I reboot and still the problem is there. Here is what log file is showing. Any help is greatly appreciated

Bed dip
Do i need to order a new bed this 0.5mm variance seems extreme, 3 layers to fill the gap of where i normally print

SuperPINDA (z probe) Always Triggered
SuperPINDA is connected to an Octopus Max EZ as described in the ratrig documentation and the BTT manual (which both agree with each other). Left to right wiring is: Black (switch), Blue (ground), Brown (+5v).
Upon powering switch, I get a glowing red LED from the SuperPINDA. Multimeter readings show a steady +5V between brown (+5V) and blue (ground). Without a piece of metal under the probe, there is zero volts between Black (switch) and blue (ground). Holding a piece of metal under the probe results in the red LED dimming, and 2.3V between the black (switch) and blue (ground) wires.
Regardless of there being a piece of metal or not under the probe, it always reads as "triggered" or closed in Klipper....

Z-Axis wanders when moving
Hi all,
after printing alot on and of with my VCore3 500 I've run into my first major issue.
When doing the bed tilt my machine often times out. The second Stepper (front left when viewed from behind) is always at aroung 1.12-5 when the 3D Touch probe triggers but the other two are closer to 1.19-23. After checking the mounting for the anti backlash nut block I ran the probe accuracy test on all 3 probing points and saw that my Bed drifts down ever so slightly. Next I noticed that my front left corner (when viewed from behind) is always a little too far from the buildplate and the lines dont stick well. Even when using an adaptive Mesh with 10x10 Point for a print thats about 10by10cm. After that I moddled a quick holder for a dial gauge and ran a test with it moving Z to 10mm, then 1mm and back to 10. Over the course of 10 cycles my Z Axis drifted by 0.05mm. This sound bad when doing alot of z-hops....
vminion board wont flash bigtreetech skr 2
hello there i need a serious help from somebody please about making my v minion working

Ratrig Bedmesh looking aweful
So i finally built my ratrig 500 and i'm unhappy with the bedmesh, any help on how to fix it ? thanks

Z changed by 1mm
Z went 1mm high yesterday after a lot of printing so I lowered it. Just did 2 hours of printing all fine. Then when I started the next round it apparently dropped down and just ruined my pei sheet dragging the nozzle through it and taking all the texture off. It's not a heat soak sag issue. This was literally from one minute to the next. I don't understand
second SD card gone bunk
Hi I have now got my second bad sd card. So I wanted to ask which is the best sd card for the pi4 and ratos?
Z1 stepper overtemp error.
Hi. I've just started getting this error. I don't know why. I've checked the stepper drivers. I've checked the temp (motor and driver are cool) and I've checked all the connections. I've also swapped stepper drivers and it still ends up being Z1.
I only seem to get this when I run shaper_calibrate. If I print, everything is fine.

Timer too close and Lost connection to MCU errors
Dear Community,
I am running a RatRig Vcore 500mm with USB Toolboard.
The specs:...
4028 Fan not working correctly
Hi, just setting up my printer
Wired everything as shown on the 4028 ratos site and tried every single code.
My problem is that in every setting the fan is on at 100%
Only exception is if the enable pin is set as shown the fan runs if set to 0%
If I go anywhere between 1-100% it's completely shut down....
4P Part cooling Fan, Config problems
Hi guys,
I have a problem with setting up a FAN in the Printer.cfg of my Minion.
The FAN stops from 0-10% again. From 10-100% it runs, but with fluctuation in speed. You can also hear how it runs faster and slower.
...

[Solved] Cooling Fan Speed Inverted
Cooling fan will be at 100% when set to 0% and vice versa. I double checked pin configuration and it is correct as per this:

I assume this is an easy config change, but I am unsure where....
Z homing Stepper Direction Issue
I am a little lost on this one, when I home x all three steppers move move the bed lower as it should and the same with homing y. When I home z (zleft) and (zright) move down but (zrear) the rear stepper moves the bed up. I have confirmed that everything is correct in the printer config I even reversed the z direction but all this does is throw the bed off level when homing x when the bed initially moves down for the homing process and checked the wiring and all z steppers are wired exactly the same. I am pretty stumped.
Thanks for any help you can offer!...
VCore 3 End Stops Not Electrically Closing?
Hey all, I'm wondering if someone could help me understand the limit switches (end stops) that came with my rather old VCore 3.0 kit. Specifically, it doesn't seem like my switches actually close the ground and signal pins when physically triggered and probed with a multimeter. Maybe I'm not understanding things with the LED function though...
Background: I'm wiring up a Manta M8P (1.0) so am following https://os.ratrig.com/docs/boards/btt/manta-m8p. Checking my limit switches in klipper they never change state when physically triggering the switch (the LED does shine when triggered though). I then noticed the warning on that page that the switches "probably" need to have their white (notionally signal) and red (notionally 5V) lines reversed on one side of the cable so I did that for one axis to test but still don't see any movement on the switch state. Removing the switch and jumping the white (signal) and black (ground) lines leads to klipper telling me they triggered so I know my pinout / config is OK. I then probed the actual switch(es) with my meter and don't see any contact when the switch is closed between the signal and ground pins.... is that expected? Is it possible to burn out the little switch circuit?...

Homing problem with "ratOS_homing" not valid section
Hi there.
I installed Klipper on a pc with Kiauh on a Ratrig Vcore 3. I'm having issue with the ratOS_homing section which is not considered valid. The z homing is not being done in the middle of the bed, i have to manually move the head to the center of the bed otherwise the head crash into the bed.
I have a second problem with the shell-macros file and especially with shells command-generate_shape_graph. I found the methode to relink this macro however i cannot connect to http://ratos.local/configure, because i'm not on a pi, mayble...

SD card seems to be full
Back again sorry. For some reason there is only 80 meg left on the SD card. No idea why. I am not running a camera although I did have the timelapse active. There were no files in the timelapse. I cleared out old print files. Can anyone point me to what might be taking up all of the space. Thank you!

Y axis Bearing vibration
I have a 500 and am trying to diagnose and resolve the vibration patterns from the bearings on the Y axis. I have squared and verified square a million ways. But when i tighten the belts i can never get my belt tension graph exactly to match and the bearings are vibrating as i pull the gantry back and forth. If i gently push the gantry it will bind a bit as it slides where with more force that isn't noticeable. This is a video of a print that shows the effects. I tried to make a video of the bearing vibration or binding but it really isn't apparent.
One note is i did have the bearings fall out when i put the linear rails together and i bought a replacement set of bearings that I added. I am not sure if that changed things. The vibration seems the same no matter whether i pull the gantry back and forth and feel on one side or the other. Both linear rails seem to do it....
Z Step
Is it required to calibrate the motor steps? My Vcore 3.1 500 seems to lose height on tall prints and eventually knocks the printed parts and so think the Z Steps might be an issue.... Or maybe not.....
This happens so much so that it breaks the "Tree supports" but snapping them in the middle. Bed adhesion is amazing.... but the force of the nozzle hitting the printed parts while traveling to next section is not good at all...
