Endstop crashes Octopus 1.1 / Raspberry pi
Hello,
After careful wiring and checking if all of the connections are secure, solid and at the right place, the endstop always crashes the printer. I've attached a video where it shows that octopus registers the endstop, but each time I click, i resets the Pi and the octopus.
If I hold the power of the endstop it kills the power to the PI and Octopus crashes.

MCU LOST CONNECTION and now can't connect to rat os
hi guys again and again with this printer cant have 2 weeks without problem, the new one : error code before i shut down and now cant get to rat os : " Can not update MCU 'mcu' config as it is shutdown
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
"FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Error configuring printer , could it be connected with the fact that my pi send me an undervolted error code (as it is clearly not with 5.1v buck converter)...
Over time build plate sinks in the rear
It seams like for some reason my build plate sinks in the rear after a while (weeks). I keep adjusting, but it's like I always have to adjust the front down to compensate.
Is there a better way to adjust this?...

Heater issue: Heater extruder not heating at expected rate
Hi. So, I been having this issue randomly for some time now and it's driving me crazy at this point.
My VCore has been working fine with the Rapido (not UHF) for some time now and I have been able to even print for 40 hours with no issues whatsoever. However, for the past three weeks I haven't been able to print not a single thing because of the verify_heater issue. I can see on the Mainsail graph that once the temperature I use for PETG is reached (245), it randomly ramps down between 20 to 40 degrees and most of the times is not able to catch up and start printing.
I have searched around here for this same issue and tried all the options I have found: Redoing PID calibration, changing for loose/broken cables (I even changed cables from another Rapido), changing the thermistor and even replacing the heating cartridge but nothing works, I will always end with this same issue at some point. Usually happens before starting a print, but it also happened mid print multiple times. ...

Extruder heater continues heating past target temp
I set it to 60C, it starts 100% and quickly drops state to 0%. At 70C I turn it off (and luckily it does).
It seems the temp sensor works fine, its just that it continues to heat at full force and its no longer being controlled properly.
What could be the issue with this?...

Mintemp error
Hi guys!
I am new here and in 3d printing so I am still confused about all.
I have this errror that stopped my print that was going overnight and now I have to trow everything 😠. It says MINTEMP error. My nozzle temperature went down in moment and everything stopped. I noticed later that while I move head around, similar temp jumps are happening. I have pictures attached. When head is steady, everything is ok. Can somebody help please? Sry for bad english...

Random misbehavior
My printer is been giving mixed signals lately. One moment everything is fine and I am starting to trust it and the next it does some very random stuff. For example, I was sitting next to it and it started doing the bed mesh from the middle randomly (I was like I don’t think I did adaptive mesh yet) then it smacks into the gantry 🥲 luckily I was there to stop it. I restarted then it started the print just fine with no problem doing the bed mesh this time. Also sometime the next on the next print the bed mesh sometimes runs at a slower speed randomly. I would love to solve this mystery. Let me know if anyone ran through something like that or has a solution. It’s a new build on vcore300 3.1 with mostly the common stuff.
Also at the start of the print lately it Started doing what is shown but printing fine after....

Odd mechanic skipping/bouncing/hitting
I originally thought my nozzle was running into printing because of over extruding. After fine tuning my extrusions, it kept happening, but only in certain parts of prints. I could hear it hitting something but couldn't see anything. After trying many things, I eventually tried the print without any filament at all. And it made the exact same sounds in the exact same spots.
So I tried moving/rotating the print. It did the same thing in different spots. Eventually, I narrowed it down to when it is going back and forth within 10 to 20mm. It starts small and gets worse the longer the infill stays in that 10-20mm range. Eventually, it will cause skipping.
Here's a video showing smooth motion in the same area when going long distance, but when it starts solid infill it starts jerking like it's hitting something....
BL Touch "failed to deploy" issue
Hello,
I have latest RatOS version on a V-Core Pro 3.0. 300x300 and I have an error message with my BL Touch: "failed to deploy". It's weird because I can run the BL Touch tests with Klipper procedures. However when running gcode, I got the message (first when launching a BED_MESH_CALIBRATE). Someone told me to increase "position_max" in [stepper_z] but I can't find this setting in printer. cfg. Does it exist for Core xy printers? Where can I find it? Should I do it for z1 and z2 steppers too? And which values should I encode?...
bed mesh out of range
why is the bed mesh calling for a y -7 move that causes my printer to abort doing the bed mesh with beacon 😬
ADXL error

tmc5160 stepper issues
Recently I had both my x and y 5160 steppers die now I'm back running the 5160's @48v again but on my 3rd print I get the error shown below same as last time. Cant power up the motors . Unfortunately fan is off in fault state and when I arrived the stepper drivers were very hot!.
Before I left I checked steppers were cold to touch, all looked well printing fine.
She printed for the last week on 2209 @ 24v no issues. Now I can't keep throwing 5160s at this I've only 2 spare 😬.

Pisa Tower prints on Y axis
Hi there, i recently applied OS and hardware upgrade. So my VCore 500 runs under RatOs 2. I have changed XY motion system by Vcore 3.1 and BRS Tensionner. I also put a Hextrudort on a VZ head.
My problem is when i print a part it systematically comes out with a diagonale issue on the Y axis only when i print in layer by layer mode. But it comes very nice out when I print them in vase mode. I already made accel and speed test to be sure it do not comes from pulleys or coupling....

EBB42 sensor issue
I just got the EBB42 board running but showing both Z and X Endstop are triggered. I checked the wiring to match the RatRig manual and I did recrimp. The only other thing left for me to do is to try a different board. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome and thank you.
Extruder Motor gets REALLY hot
I've installed an EBB36 toolboard and now the extruder motor (orbiter 2.0) gets so hot that the filament gets soft inside the gears and clogs the PTFE tube before the hotend. I tried several configs but nothing seems to work (even reducing the current). Before the EEB36 I never had this problem.

Orbiter 2.0 extruding exactly 4x too much
I had my printer doing well. Everything was working well. Then I decided to make a change where it would've been easier to just start from a fresh copy of RatOS.
I saved all my configs for reference and started from scratch. After a successful reinstall and setup, I'm extruding 4x too much filament. I say G1 E1 and 4mm of filament get extruded. My printer.cfg is attached....

error
Hello, after doing a fresh install of ratos because it has been such a long time since i have used my printer, aswell as cleaning up some wireing. I have been face with a error? (Picture attachment) I have tried to do the following things in the klipper guide on how to fix this issue. Here is what the guide reads:
**"I keep getting "Unable to read tmc uart 'stepper_x' register IFCNT" errors?¶
This occurs when Klipper is unable to communicate with a tmc2208 or tmc2209 driver.

Cleaning nozzle after filament run-out
I'm looking for suggestions on how to clean out the nozzle of a Rapido UHF (0.6 mm nozzle installed) where I ran out of filament (PETG) and there's some cold filament stuck in the heat break (apparently) between the LGX lite and the Rapido. I haven't had any luck pushing it down or melting it out or cleaning it with needles. I'm hoping to avoid taking it apart, but that's going to be my next step barring any better ideas.
