Hello all... can use some help diagnosing issue

Ok, i just returned from a backpacking trip. Before my trip, i was printing something, once it completed, it parked the print head like normal and actual powered it's self off. Never had that done before. But it would NOT power back on. So, thinking power supply is out. Got a new one, hooked it up.... it turns on, but still is wrong. First the bed will not heat up. Second, i can't get the hot end or part cooling fan to turn on. So I quit trying anything and stepped back.... is it possible that the board is damaged? The hot end will start heating up, but the fan will not kick on. Anyway I can confirm my theory about the board or any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks Jim...

hello there, swapped boards, and got to initial set up, when trying to calibrate z, its showing "" Endstop z still triggered after retract " checking the trigger statue, X is open, Y is open, Z and probe says triggerd, although its far away, and the only motion i got was downward and then the error message, i tried to add a " ! " instead of the " ^ " on the line, the stautes became open for all 3 axis and probe, but it crashes and doesnt detect the bed upon calibration. ...

help. What I did wrong? If i save the firmware.bin to the SD card it also doesn’t change it to .cur, so i’m guessing the bootloader simply doesn’t work....

Rat rig V-Core 3 Unable to connect to IP Address

I've moved my Rat rig from sitting on a table where it had been uneven onto the floor, in that process I didn't unplug any wires and now I am unable to connect to my IP Address Program. I've looked through the Fix-my-printer but am unable to find anything relating. I just Interchanged the ethernet wire from my Desktop to my printer and it should work but doesn't. Do you think I damaged a part of my printer or could it be a software issue? Thank you....

rapido uhf(old) Heater not heating properly

MAX31865 Not working

Hey everyone, I need some help before I (completely) lose my sanity 🙂 I am building a v-core 3.1 with an octopus pro f446 and a rapido plus (pt1000). Since it has a pt1000 thermistor, when I connect it to the normal thermistor port, I get readings of -65c, so I need to use the built in max31865 port on the board. Euclid probing issue (new install)

Hi guys, I just installed a Euclid for my v-core. I followed the ratos documentation and so far it is working when doing test probing, Homing Z, etc. Now for some reason, when I start a print and it goes to probe the prime location, the bed lowers to the point where it starts dragging the probe on the bed and moves there and knocks off the probe. I am unsure as to why it happens.

Heatsoak with mosquito magnum on EVA 2.4

Hi guys, I'm getting heatsoak printing slow solid infills with my setup and am wondering if this is something that people have run into before. The heatsoak is causing a thing puck of filament to form in the TINY gap between the PTFE tube and the mosquito's heatbreak. The issue really only presents itself in areas when the flow is very low, so several layers worth of solid infill in small perimeters causing the flowrate to stay low for long periods of time. (I am open to at least one comment with "just dial up your accel yolo") I think this may be partially caused by EVA's design possibly being too constrictive on the hotend cooling fan, or possibly said fan just not being powerful enough....

Z offset keeps needing to be increased.

First off - I'm running duet3 hc6 board, so I'm not running RatOS. I do have the ratrig3.1 updated components installed. Every other day I need to babystep the nozzle 0.1mm closer to the bed, to get a good first layer. After print finishes, I save the updated value into my config.g, so if it's "G31 P25 X-28.00 Y-13.00 Z3.70" before, it becomes "G31 P25 X-28.00 Y-13.00 Z3.80". When I run a G31, while printing, it does report the correct G31 value, so it's not as if it doesn't save, or use the value. Anyone have an idea what could be going wrong? My logic says that at some point the nozzle should be going under the build plate......

Extruder fighting itself

Hey I have a standard config 3.1 and after a loose wire in the jst connector I am having extruder trouble. It appears to be skipping steps but after inspection nothing is wrong with the gears. It looks like the coils might be fighting each other because the motor is getting really hot and every few teeth you get a bump in the extrusion and gearbox looks like it's trying to separate. Nothing wrong with the teeth when removing the outer plates. Could the mcu be fried?

Advice on fuse/plug

Hello, I just got my printer up and running (400mm with Rapido 2.0 Plus UHF, 1000W bed) and I've been about to print for a number of hours now with success. A little bit ago, I started a print and realized I forgot something in slicing and hit the cancel print button. The machine instantly went unresponsive and (after a few minutes) I found out the blew the fuse in the power socket (250V 5A fuse). Any advice on where I should go from here? Should I try to get a larger load fuse? The socket itself says it's rated for 250V 10A, yet came with a 250V 5A fuse. I'm in US so I believe my outlets are 120v, 15A....

mcu 'mcu': Unable to open serial port: [Errno 2] could not open port /dev/btt-octopus-11: [Errno 2]

So, i have a octopus pro 446 board that i've reflashed using the RatOS configure a couple of times but this error keeps popping up. the weird thing is, I can home my printer, heat up the bed, hotend and everything. but when i start a print it goes through all the steps (leveling etc) but when it wants to actually start pritning it moves to the outer edge of the bed for the purge line and then it just throws the error ''Lost communication with MCU 'mcu''' this is -consistantly- repeatable...

Endstop crashes Octopus 1.1 / Raspberry pi

Hello, After careful wiring and checking if all of the connections are secure, solid and at the right place, the endstop always crashes the printer. I've attached a video where it shows that octopus registers the endstop, but each time I click, i resets the Pi and the octopus. If I hold the power of the endstop it kills the power to the PI and Octopus crashes. ...

MCU LOST CONNECTION and now can't connect to rat os

hi guys again and again with this printer cant have 2 weeks without problem, the new one : error code before i shut down and now cant get to rat os : " Can not update MCU 'mcu' config as it is shutdown Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Error configuring printer , could it be connected with the fact that my pi send me an undervolted error code (as it is clearly not with 5.1v buck converter)...
