hdmi 5" wrong resolution (MANTA M8P + CB1)

Hi boys. I'm trying to install a 5" waveshare lcd. I have to change the screen resolution because it's wrong. here the guide: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/5inch_HDMI_LCD_(B). The guide says to edit a "Config.txt" file in the root folder but in the CB1 root folder I can't find any file called "Config .txt" do you have any ideas? sadpepe

Z probe as Z endstop

Hey guys, I have an inductive toolhead with it's own amplifier/inverter box (I think! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K82KZZM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I'm trying to get it to work with my VMinion setup (SKR Mini E3 30). However, the probe end only has 2 wires, not 3 like you'd find on a normal inductive probe. Assuming I want to use all the hardware as is including the 2 prong pin, where do I plug it in so that it's recognized (I mean to say I put it into the z-endst...

Printer won't boot properly after Christmas

Hi, Mi V-core300-3.1 is not playing nicely anymore. Last print was made 2 weeks ago. I did not change anything on the hardware side or software side for as far as I can remember (...). Now, when I physically switch on my printer and connect via moonraker, sometimes it boots properly but most of the time I get the orange screen with varying error messages, sometimes I get the blue Printer is not ready. If I wait half a minute and use the menu to restart klipper, I most of the times boot op normally. I have no idea where to look. Can anybody help me a bit in where to look for errors? My initial idea was low power/voltage but I checked the power supply and connections and they seem ok.
I am running a BTT-Manta M8P with a CM4...

z probe issues

Hello all, I've been printing now with my RR 500 for a couple of months now just fine. But a strange z probe issue has shown up. I kicked off a print but it stopped after homing all because after it did the z, the super z probe was still triggered. I read that this can happen when there is a break in the cable or connection to prevent damage. I don't use zip ties on any cables coming out of print head. I've checked connections on board..nothing has mad a difference. I had a spare super in the bag brand new, not opened, didn't attach to printer, just plugged it into the board. I ended up with the same result as the original. Am I now looking at a problem with the board? The board is a 466 Thanks Jim...

Hi, My vcore 3.1 is printing in mirror orientation vs slicer and also rotates the print, top layer in slicer is bottom layer while printing, any ideas where to look?...

weirdo extruder issue

Today my extruder randomly started jamming when my printer occupies the back third or so of the build area. Everything worked fine this morning but out of nowhere this happens. I don't know how many more wacko problems it is possible to run into in a single build. If anyone has any ideas or solutions I would appreciate it. Tomorrow I'll swap the motor driver but beyond that I'm at a loss....

inaccurate Y axis

so I just finished the build phase of my 400mm v3.1 and I'm running some of the basic stuff after configuring the basic printer.cfg. When I home all axes, everything appears to work properly except that when mainsail says y is at 200 its actually at 100. x and z seem to be working fine. When I try to probe for a mesh, it will start at 0,100 instead of 0,0 and then it hits the end of the bed in the y axis when it thinks its only at y=300 Does anyone have an idea if this is a build issue or a printer.cfg problem? I can't think of why it would be doing this at all. (its a 400mm build and yes I have it set to that in the printer.cfg)...

nozzle suddenly destroying sheet

Last night the EVA front cage broke (one of my early ASA prints, bad layer adhesion I guess). I printed a new one, adjusted everything and did some print over the day which went fine. A few minutes ago I started another print and just came back to this - the brand new (installed two days ago) Phaetus tungsten Carbid nozzle is scraping the PEI from my even newer (installed today) sheet. I turned off the printer, saved the klipper and moonraker logs (don't see much).
What happened here? How can I prevent it from happening again?...

Toolhead clicking sound

So - after some time investigating this and fixing quite some errors on the way - they don't seem to be the one i am actually looking for. Maybe somebody recognises this clicking sound and is able to tell me where the heck this is coming from, because i sure as hell am not able to pinpoint this sadpepe

i thought for a long time this is the nozzle rubbing over infill lines and "flipping" them for this sound......

Assembly issues with pulley - belt position.

Hi guys, I am assembling a vcore 3.1 300 at the moment. Everything went fine until I came to the step where the belts are routed / tensioned. When I then moved the gantry / printhead, I heard a rattling noise that came from the left stepper / pulley assembly. The belt moves up to the edge of the pulley and then jumps back. I took lots of time to adjust the pulleys height position, but no matter where the pulley is, the belt will move up and down. ...

Heating or fan issue?

On my last couple of prints, the part cooling fan suddenly kicks in at 100% and at the same time the hotend temperature drops resulting in a shut down for Mr. Klippy due to a heating error.. Any thoughts?...

Motors have high pitch sound when enabled

I just upgraded my V-Core 3 from 3.0 to 3.1 and the enclosure kit. After fighting a couple issues in the build I finally got it back up and running but noticed that it was pretty loud after homing. Kind of a high pitch whine and I feel like I didn't notice it before the upgrades. I can get the sound to go away by disabling the x and y steppers. I didn't do anything to the motors outside of unplugging them and plugging them back in....

Issue with bed leveling

I'm running into issues where I'll print something large and in one corner it prints fine but the other the nozzle gets way to close, I run a true bed level before every print but not sure how to fix this
