Advice for new playthrough

I want to start a new playthrough with my brother, but we only have one evening in the week to play together. I'd say it's around 2 to 3 hours per evening. So I'm asking for experienced people to help me choose some mods to cut the playtime to "finish" the game from 100ish hours to 10 hours so we can have a lot of extra time to spend on exploring and designing factories. Maybe there's a recipe overhaul? Or maybe the mod "multiply" will suffice to cut ingredients by 95% and the output to 80% for example?...

Solution:

I ended up pushing another version (1.2.5) which fixed another issue and kept the possible fix, so you don't need to download the special version above to test the possible fix any more

SMM not putting mods on server

For some reason, it doesn't want to put the mods on the server because of this. I've already disabled all the mods that don't support Linux server. DI more glass

Hi , new to the game, i have SMM installed, i downloaded teh DI more glass and stuff mod. I"m running 1.0, but i'm not sure why the mod wont load when i launch in game. Is it exclusive to dedicated servers? Sorry, new to this and not sure what specific settings i need to adjust to enable it ingame? I can see the mod is installed

Solution:

Is it causing a crash or you just don’t see the glass pieces? If it’s that you don’t see the pieces check the hub and see if there is an unlock for them

Why does my light control panel's texture disappear once the build animation ends?

Portable Miner Collector bug?

I'm trying out the 1.1 experimental version of Satisfactory. In the 1.0 version when I interact with the Portable Miner Collector it brings up a list of portable miners that I can select for transferring resources. In the 1.1 version it appears to be acting like a big expensive 10-slot storage container. I can move items in and out, but there does not appear to be any way to link a portable miner, unless I'm missing something....

I tried to make the patch backwards compatible initially, but it broke the functionality of all of the storage containers completely so unfortunately the patch can only be available for 1.1

Trying to launch into U8. trying to load into old save file that is modded.

i have the mod manager import. hell i even have the old mod manager imstalled so it doesnt yell at me about contrasting versions. it is the exact same version that i was using back then.

How do I check what version of SML do I have installed? How do I force it to update?

Might be a stupid question, honestly, but I couldn't find it in the mod manager UI. Also couldn't find a way to check for any updates to it. Attaching my debug log so the bot might tell me info. Thanks!...

SMM Not Able To Change Versions

When I try to start my game with mods loaded it crashes before fully loading. I sent the crash log to fred and it says I need to update two mods. However, when I try to download the newer versions it tells me 'something went wrong'.

Can't open SMM at all?

Installer works just fine, reinstalled it multiple times, shows no errors, but when I click on it, even run it as admin, nothing. The cursor just blinks for a second and nothing happens, not on the task bar, not in task manager, nothing. Doesn't matter if I install for my user only or for everyone, even reinstalled webview2.
