Reverse Elephant foot..

Trying to print this small piece of Lego.. .. I get what appears to be a taper or a "reverse" elephant foot in the first few layers.. I can't figure out what setting might be causing this.. I'm also seeing that the corners are rounded just so ever slightly.. In PLA, extruder at 210C, bed at 65.. nozzle is 0.6mm.. print speed is at 35mm/s with first layer speed at 20mm/s.. I've also played with the first layer compensation in superslicer.. initial value was -1mm so I put this to 0mm and things seemed to improve but very slightly.. I then further increased the layer compensation to 1 and then some but the problem seems to persist no matter what number I plug in there.. I thought at 5mm I would start to see an elephant foot but nope.....

V-minion improve overhang with stock cooling

I’m struggling to print this x_gantry_end_cap part with overhang. I’m already on the lowest nozzle temp recommended for the filament 230 deg C. Max fan speed on bridging/overhang but I still get this curling. Any tips will be much appreciated! Thanks!...

Prusia Slicer 2.6 tree supports digging into model

I'm using Prusia Slicer 2.6 Alpha 4, and for some reason the tree supports are digging into the model and causing branding marks on the model like it deleted part of the model to make room for the supports. Is there a way to make it stop doing that?

Calibration print with 0.6mm nozzle

Hi - which setting do I need to adjust to have the infill closer to the wall? This is my first calibration print with BambuStudio using a new 0.6mm nozzle. I have reduced the wall count from 3 to 2 but in would think there should be more overlap - right?

Same print settings, slightly different model, what's going on?

The left side of the first image is the first print that came out beautifully. The right side is the new part with the exact same print settings, with issues. The part geometry is very very similar and the outcome is much different. I've tried the same file on 2 different ratrigs with the same resulting pock marks, although not identical. (both vcore 3.1 500). Nothing in the slicer gives me any red flags, any ideas?

Retraction issue?

Printing a tower for a test.. one corner is terrible! It's this a retraction issue? Any thoughts are appreciated. Nozzle is a 0.6 and this print is at 0.1mm

Periodic horizontal mini patterns

Hi, any ideas what could be making the small periodic patterns (shown with red arrows --ignore the big blobs, those are just seams). That is supposed to be a 100x60mm vertical wall, aligned with y axis. (so probably can exclude PA or ghosting). PA, extrusion, PID, tuned. Using Vcore 500, 0.4 Rapido, Lgx Lite, ESUN PLA+, 210C, 85mm/s, four perimeters, outside first, 0.2 height . 4028 fan at 35% Since they are periodic I'd guess either issue with extruder gears or rail ball bearings? Maybe even overextrusion from the inside perimeters spilling over? Belt is maybe on the tighter side as well (at least compared to what other people have) if that could be a cause....

Pimples at Layer Start/Stop?

I printed a Part with Prusament PETG (matte black). All in all it looks great for me. But there are pimples at the inner perimeters. Looks like it is the start and stop point of the nozzle for each layer? Anybody an idea how to hide/improve it?...

underextrusion upon 1'st print test cube.

I had just started a test cube, and this is what i got, i tried live adjusting extrusion multiplier to 200% and almost nothing is being fed into the nozzle, the prime line looks ok, manually trying to extrude fillament seems to work fine, but starting print i get this almost no extrusion thing, using LGX lite with rapido via superslicer and all config is stock expcept for the ratrig profile .. my 1'st layer calib is ok i compensated for Z and even tried pushing it down while live more but nothin...

Buldge on multiple parts on the same print

I did a multiple part print, that somehow is getting buldges on some heights, and i have no idea what is going on. The buldge towards the top appeared on every part on the build plate. I checked the leadscrews and i dont see any binding. ...

Strange Stringing on outside of print.

Hey people, I am trying to print a few inserts for a box game and even though I dried my Petg and did a PA tune I somehow get this kind of string on the outside and inside of the print. It was a single-part-print. Cheers...

Overextrusion at infill, underextrusion at the perimiter

Hello, I am trying to get my ASA CF working but keep failing for some reason. I am using a CHC Pro with a TC 0,6mm nozzle and I am using elcos printing profiles (https://github.com/elcojacobs/superslicer-config), who has the same setup but uses an orbiter 2.0 instead of my LGX. As a result I lowered the retraction speed to 40mm/s - everything else is identical (including the PA of 0.02) However, I keep getting overextrusion at the infill with his EM of 93,5%. The attached cubes have 93.5%, 92.5%, 91.5% and 90.5% EM. At 90.5% the infill starts looking good, but then the perimeters show signs of underextrusion (gaps between them). ...

SuperPinda triggering too late

I am setting up a new vcore 3.1 and until now I've only used bltouch but this time I decided to go with superpinda 😊. First, I had to reverse the polarity of the probe (removed the '!' otherwise it stayed always triggered...). Then, when homing Z the nozzle rammed into the magnetic bed... It seems that the probe triggers but it happens too close to the bed. I need to set the probe lower than the bed in order to make it work.....

Strage extrusion and z-offset behaviour

Hi, I have a v-minion. Always printing good. But from some time I having problems with the z-offset and the extrusion. Both my slicers (Cura and SuSl) are setted to relative extrusion like in RatOs variable. My z-offset is correctly calibrated. But randomly, from print to print, I get irregular extrusion or incorrect z-offset (or too low or too high). Sometimes reboot the firmware is the only solution to fix it. Any ideas?

Gaps between the Layers

the Minion is giving me a bit of a headache at the moment I have gaps between the layers and I just can't find the error I've tried a number of settings, high and low temperatures, pull back up and down, print slowly and quickly, different fan settings, fan completely from different layer heights, set the flow higher, z-offset checked again, but nothing was successful tested at PLA and PETG different manufacturers...

Struggling with TPU print

Hello all, can you please share your Superslicer profile or any screenshot of your settings… I tried many different things (slower print speed, more fan speed…) but whatever I do my prints are very stingy, I tried drying my filament for many hours but still the same… Thanks....
