Move out of range despite no move out of range in G-Code

There is no move out of range in the G-Code however the printer tries to move out of range. The primeblob had to be adjusted because the printhead is a customized, ultra slim designed:

I am stumped. I have a V-Core 3.1 400, btt-octopus-11, cooled TMC 2209 + LDO-42STH48-2504AC, enclosed. There are other modifications, but nothing that should cause my issue. I recently reinstalled software after trying to upgrade. After reinstalling the software, I have a problem with stepper_Z2. Physically, it’s been running more or less flawlessly for about 24 months. 24 months ago, I modified the setup so that when it completed printing the bed would automatically drop to 250mm so I could open the doors and remove the printout. Thus, it would raise the bed when doing the Z-homing. This worked for 24 months. After upgrading to the latest software, when raising the bed from 250mm to home, the Z2 (front right) stepper seems to “lag”, meaning that it ends up about 70 mm short. This does not happen when the bed lowers, only when it rises. When the bed is this out of trim it fails to trim when I do a Z-tilt (either the Z or Z1 stepper would hit the maximum and I get an error message)....

Board not connecting to my pi.

I attempted to reconfigure my printer after hardware changes. However, the board doesn't automatically flash when accessing the configuration page. I SSHed into the Pi and ran 'lsusb' to check for detection, but found nothing. The board appears powered but lacks LED documentation. Could it be dead? Or its something else....

Overtemp Error after changing 4028 fan

Hello everyone, today I swapped my 4028 for something useful and as it always goes, the next part glitches when trying it out. Has anyone ever experienced something like this before? I've already swapped the drivers. The 3 Z-drivers have very different temperatures. One around 35 degrees, one at 55, and one over 60. They are cooled by a 140mm Noctua fan on top of the Octopus. X and Y are each around 30. When the print starts, it stops with this message. This only happens in performance mode since i changed the 4028... Does anyone have an idea?...

Extruder skipping

Ater many hours of printing i have started having problems with the extruder motor skipping. It cannot extrude at the rates it used to be able to. Last time i printed i had to limit volumetric flowrate to 5mm^3/s and it would still skip. I have tried the following: 1) Tried to swap the stepper driver to one from another motor. 2) Tried to use another socked with same and swapped driver 3) Replaced the extruder and stepper motor. (I had an LGX lite and am now using an orbiter 2.0) 4) Made sure that the config uses the 0.85A that the manual for the Orbiter specifies....
Solution:
I think I've figured it out. Took apart the hot end and tried to remove all the plastic in it. When i heated it up to remove the plastic i found that i could not get the blunt end of a 1.9mm drill into the tube that goes between the hot end and the heat brake. Something had hardened at gotten stuck in the tube. After using the sharp end of the drill and manually clearing out the worst of it, it can now extrude PLA at a rate of 25mm^3/s using a temp of 210C. So it seems that it was clogged in the...

x axis and y move together

Raspberry PI3b red light only

Just had to flash my mcu, not used my printer in a while and since I've built my control box back up my pi has a steady red light. Can't find my printer now on the network. I'm sure it should be flashing green when reading the sd card Have i damaged the pi? #pi3b #vminion...

BTT SFS 2.0

Still having issues with BTT SFS 2.0 This is what I currently have in my printerconfig file as per the instructions. But every print when it starts it goes to the back and parks.... just stays paused. It's like the sensor is backwards. [filament_switch_sensor switch_sensor] switch_pin: ^PG12...

I found this in the vcore mods section and it works great!!! I can’t PROBE_CALIBRATE. Clicking +0.1 results in the printer going down and back up by 0.1.

I can click that button until the cows come home but the bed will not get closer to the nozzle. The bed moves but immediately undoes the same move. The dashboard will reflect an overall change in Z so the “undo” so it seems position does get out of sync. If I use the 1mm button then the bed will get closer (or farther away) from the nozzle but I still see a 0.1mm reverse movement which should not happen IMO. I did this countless times easily on my last core so I’m not new to this command, but the UI is new, I just used TESTZ before. Video shows me clicking 0.1mm once, the nozzle goes up and then down and rests at the original position. I've already done homing, ztilt, belt and input shaping graphs with no motion issues so I don't believe it's a wiring/controller issue....

V-Core 3 - 500 | Bed tilt adjustment is unreliable: the differences in z-height do not converge

During the bed tilt adjustment, the range does not converge reliably, sometimes it only takes 1 or 2 retrys, sometimes upwards of 5 and often it aborts, since the range is increasing. This issue started appearing over time, and happens both with a hot and a cold hotend and bed; I also already re-tightened the grub screws on the lead screw couplers. My bed level sensor is a BlTouch, and I am using the rough PEI sheet, if that is important at all....

Ceramic heater not feeding filament through

Filament is able to feed through until it hits the post of the ceramic heater, it was working fine before but not anymore, it just jams, and the bondtech extruder clicks even when using “load_filament” (temp rises to 220 but just keeps clicking bond extruder. The ceramic heater rod seems to no longer be compatible with the 1.75mm diameter prusament PETG filament that was going through the system and printing before (although the prints were filled with bubbling from above the nozzle so assuming the system wasn’t tight before, tightening now have this problem although I can’t see how it’s related)...

X Endstop Always Triggered

I'm having an issue where my x endstop is always showing as triggered in Klipper. The endstop light turns on when pressed, but seems not to register the input. I'm following this ↓ wiring diagram for the octopus. I've replaced the wire because I thought the the other one was getting hot - and, because I had to flip the wire. With the new wire (pictured) I still can't get it to work, so I can't tell if it's a hardware or software issue. Thanks for any input, I really appreciate it....

PT1000 help needed

Trying to finish the install of the toolhead upgrade. I know I need to insert the code "[extruder] sensor_type: PT1000" under User Overrides of the Printer.cfg. Did that but now getting a new error. Option 'control' in section 'heater_bed' must be specified...

installed bi metal volcano nozzle and my prints will run for anywhere between 1 minute and 2 hours.

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get my rr to print without stopping. I installed this cht bimetal volcano nozzle and also tried the factory rapido volcano and have had zero luck. I’m printing usually 150mm/s with a flow rate of around 12-15. Filament choice doesn’t seem to matter…. Cheap, high end, middle of the road… every single thing I feed this machine it starts out good for a bit and then quits feeding filament. I installed the orbiter 2.0 and that hasn’t seemed to fix anyt...

We have finished to assemble the Vcore 3 500mm, everything is running ok, but it reads direct on hotend thermistor 158ºc, when on the temperature starts to raise, the reading is inverted, is any issue on Config, or is defective thermistor. when it drops 20c instead of increasing, safe shutsdown...

X & Y moves when should only move one of it.

Im setting up a new machine, Im using a octopus v1.1. The wiring seems to be fine, it is a custom machine 1m3 volume. When a move the X axis the Y axis meves the same amount, the same happens when i move the Y axis,.. the X axis moves. so strange. I googled it a lot but could not solve the problem. Does anyone had the same problem? any clue?...

[SOLVED] Hi all I have anV3 400 with phaetus rapido UHF/HF and LDO orbiter 1.5 extruder. no matter what I do Hotend clogs. If I load fialment and it extrud fine, Start a print , it homes, then z tilt, then bed level. When it start to extrude the blop sometime it is okay but then fail in the print, but most of the time the extruder just skipping at the blop. I did try a new heatbrake with no luck also did change the 40x40x10 fan to 40x40x20 fan but it is still the same problem. Any ideas there c...
