V-MiniON bed heater - strange behavior

This behavior started happening a few days ago. Heating bed to target temperature is flawless. As long as NOT printing, the heater PWM is stable, no jumps, everything is fine. A few minutes after actual print starts, bed heater PWM starts going all over the place, as well as reported bed temperature. This doesn't happen immediately, but roughly 6 to 8 minutes AFTER printing starts. ...

at a loss with Ratos configuration wizard

Unfortunately I can't get any further. I have played the company more on the SD card and then transferred it to the mainboard, everything worked perfectly. If I continue now and click on the check button, nothing happens. Do you know this or do you have a solution?...

Z TILT is never perfect

Hello everyone. I would like to ask you what would the best coordinates for z tilt probing? I am trying to improve how my vcore 3.1 does this procedure as I always find one corner os the bed a bit too raised and by consequence, the other is always a bit too low. I know its a problem with this because when I calibrate with paper below the klicky probe, It levels perfectly, so, its not a warped bed. Thank you all in advance...

layer shift on newly assembled printer

Mega frustrating layer shifts on newly built printer. Green piece was the first one. No shifts. But it was the only piece printed at once. Then i tightened back belts. Also printed two other pieces at once, that were good. Then the blue pieces overnight. Layer shift on one axis....

First longer print attempted, printer stops after 1 hour

I suspect it is something with the raspberry pi Previously i got these two warnings and kind of ignored them for now: `Previously Under-Volted rPI supply voltage dropped below 4.65V at least once since the last power-on....
Solution:
I would go over all your wiring and components, something else might have gotten damaged from wiring up the pi wrong

Extruder skipping, extruder motor overheating?

My extruder (LGX Lite) recently started skipping. This started happening overnight: one day it was fine, and the next it wasn't. It can currently extrude at 8mm/s (not mm^3/s), but not beyond, or it skips What I've tried so far: 1) Changed the nozzle (just in case 😅) 2) Tried several other filaments, with various temperatures as well...

My prints are interrupted.

Hello. My printing has been interrupted for the last few days. The clipper connection is also working. When I reconnect, it says "interrupted" on the track I last sent to print. I examined the log files and there is no information. I couldn't find out what could be causing this. I also want to say this for extra information. Since the first day I built the printer, there has been a warning in clipper notifications that the voltage has fallen below 4.65 volts. but this has never been a problem before....
Solution:
I was feeding Raspbery via jumper cables via the BTT motherboard. I was getting a voltage drop error on Raspbery from the beginning, but I didn't take it into consideration because it didn't cause any problems at first. Now when I had a problem, when I fed Raspbery with its original adapter, my problems were solved. I also had a filament jamming problem and it was solved when I lowered the retraction setting from 5mm to 1mm.

Autofocus won't turn off

I can't get my autofocus to turn off. I have a 3do camera from kbb. I have attached my crowsnest config. The link to the camera I purchased is listed below. Thanks again for any ideas! https://kb-3d.com/store/electronics/992-8079-3do-enclosure-camera-kit-usb.html#/914-resolution-4k...

New Beacon setup. No clues...

I have an enclosed 500 with the toolhead 1.0 beta2 setup. I am using the toolhead from https://www.printables.com/model/720356-ratrig-toolhead-beta2-beacon-probe-revh-mount to mount the beacon Rev H. The issue that I have is that I don't see a standard setup for it. Can someone copy/paste that chunk here so I can see what they are using? I ended up with this but am wanting to wait to run it as I don't want the hotend dug into the printbed. ####################################################################################################...

TMC Overheat on vcore 400, octopus-11, cooled TMC 2209 and amps 1.1.

I have 1 year old vcore 400. It has cooled mbo with 120 mm fan and cooled xy-motors. I added cpap-cooling about 2 weeks ago and its fine. Printer is in my work room so I added xy-decoupling mod to it yesterday for lowering sound volume. After install printer started to throw tmc-overheat errors. Lowered amps to 1.1 from 1.6 and I still get tmc-overheat error. I have swapped the driver but I still get overheat-error. As far as I understand there is pretty much 3 possibilities: Motor failing, Cable failing or Octopus failing. Any other good suggestions? Cable was just taken off from motor for installation and put back. I am pretty much 100% sure that it is not the cause of this problem. But I will of course swap cable if no other cause is found. ...

V-Core 3.1 commissioning

I’m in the process of commissioning my V-Core 3.1- 400, I have an acceptable bed mesh and a serviceable first layer calibration. I’m currently in the process for sorting out the parts cooling fan. The issues I’m having with the fan is as follows: When I first powered up the printer the Fan would energize at 100% on startup despite the console indicating it was at 0%....

Belt tension or something else?

So I'm having some slight issues, Not sure if this is belt tension related or something else.
Solution:
Turns out it wasn't actually my issue... The Pi was being throttled And I didn't realize it. It was the old Motorola Phone charging brick dropping voltage. Plugged it directly into the power brick on the Surge Protector and my issue's went away. I lifted the nozzle a whole .120 and it was still doing the same thing. And then I was also having homing issue's after I made this post. It would only move the gantry about 20mm and then stop and report no trigger after full movement. After changing the power supply everything went back to normal, I use a .040 feeler gauge to set nozzle height since its more consistant than a piece of paper....

Z wobble or some sort of problem with gantry?

Not sure what is going on, but I am having z wobble/banding on VCore 3.1. I've tried doing a bunch of different stuff to the z axis, checking everything and making sure it is straight and the lead screws are straight and seated properly and there's no binding. I am still getting z banding but it seems to be mostly only on the Y axis movement. The pictures here are from the left and right side, which would be the y axis and the gantry moving. It isn't really there for the X axis though, which I'll add the pictures for the X axis below. I've tried fixing the gantry, I've untightened and reset the mounting points to straighten it to see if that was the problem but there wasn't any change really. From the shaper graph, the "y" green line is the x axis which causes the second peak. I don't really know what I should be looking for, everything is tightened, the belts are all moving correctly on the pulleys. I'm at a loss, I'm not sure if I should be looking at Z or Y, or even what anymore....
