I need help

I have a modpack with a bunch of performance mods like nosium and lithium (modrinth) and I dont have any shaders on with cpu thread and quality both maxed. i have my render set at 512 and it still takes around 100+ hours to load 1M chunks. Why is this happenening? Ive seen people with shaders and the same amount of chunks to load and it takes them 24 ish hours. DH is loading as I DO see the chunks load in, even stuff from 600+ blocks away

Entire screen looks corrupted

This is Minecraft 1.21.8, Distant Horizons 2.3.4-b-1.21.8, on fabric This is not a compatibility issue because the only mod I have installed is distant horizons Whenever I open any world with the mod enabled, the entire world looks like this. This happens in both singleplayer and on a multiplayer server. As an added bonus, whenever I press escape, the menu doesn't even appear, although I can still interact with it (the second image is what the menu looks like) The mod itself seems to be working because there are chunks visible outside the normal render distance, but also the screen looks like this so something is wrong I have no idea how to even begin to fix this, so any help would be greatly appreciated...

SMP mod/plugin suggestions?

I'm looking to create a Vanilla-ish server with the purpose of playing with happy ghasts and Distant Horizons, perhaps some terrain generation mods as well. Any suggestions on the version, things to look out for, mods/plugins to add, etc? I've seen there are mods to add for the happy ghasts to other versions. I'm looking for a Vanilla-ish experience but with some add ons to make the server more interesting and for longevity and performance.

Any forge mods to reduce time?

Anyone know any forge mods that would help reduce loading times for distant horizon in a terrain modded world? Also, would DH work in a server with more then one person in it?

Memory leak in DistantHorizons-2.3.4-b-1.21.4-fabric-neoforge?

Started generating with in on the server with 16G of RAM dedicated, it crashed after a bit and came up with a file saying out of memory error, so I tried 32G, and same thing happened, filled up my RAM to 32G dedicated and crashed soon after saying the same thing. No crash reports
Solution:
I think it was the fabric version then (16.10 I think doesn't work)

DH sqlite not working for server-mates.

Hey, I've made a world and pre-genned a tonne of chunks, the DH rendering works beautifully for me, but not for my server mates. I'm hosting a world using e4mc, and I've sent the sqlites over e-mail, but theirs' isn't rendering nearly as well as mine - which is confusing me cause the configs we have are the exact same. The LODs are there for them, but they don't display nearly as much as mine do, but again, I don't think it would be necessary for them to explore chunks if they already have the LOD data, could they be putting it in the wrong place or something?...

flickering

Does anyone know how to fix the flickering that happens to chunks made by DH?

My fps is very low

I used to play with 1000 renders and 60 fps. I recently started playing again and can't get past 50 fps with 256 renders. I set Java to use 8GB of RAM. I've tried a lot of things, I really wanted to play with high quality and good fps. List of mods attached, I'm using Bliss shaders. I don't speak English, I'm using a translator. My PC: R7 57003xd 9060XT 16GB 16GB RAM...

Server render distance is used instead of vanilla; Quality drop off too fast

So I have a problem. The chunks look like crap very close. I am playing on a server. The render distance is set to 8 chunks there. However my vanilla render distance is 32. The distant horizons render distance is 256. However, the LODs start displaying after the server render distance - 8. I don't want that. I want og quality up till 32 chunks and then lower quality LODs. The quality preset is already set to extreme. So I want to ask, is it possible to use the vanilla render distance somehow for the original quality? Like set it to 32 instead of 8 chunks (which is the default on that server) of original quality. Has anyone encountered that issue and managed to fix it?...

Ignored Snow Layer Blocks Breaks DH

I added snow to the ignored blocks list, I would have expected it to render whatever is underneath instead of making the chunks transparent. (they are covered in snow just like the ones within render distance). Yes this happens without shaders. Is this normal behavior? DH Forge 2.3.4-b 1.20.1 Is there a way to get rid of the 1x1x1 DH snow other than this? Maybe just paint the block underneath white?...

LOD Chunk loading

Hello, i have a question. I generated 320 chunks yesterday and it was finished, now when i entered the world it says that it's loading all the way from the beginning despite them already being loaded as can be seen on picture, i also noticed by changing LOD quality presets also causes this. Any help would be appreciated!

Distant generation disabled

I just installed the plugin and read the wiki, but the wiki doesn't have much content yet. How do I enable distant generation for all players?
Solution:
you need to have distant generation enabled on the client

Horizon line in oceans is SUPER noticeable at eye-level w/ shaders

Sorry if this is a common issue, I messed with a lot of DH and Shader settings, and also did a lot of searching on the discord to try and find a solution before making a post - but I couldn't figure it out :,) This is on 1.21.1 Fabric (both Singleplayer and Multiplayer) using ComplementaryReimagined 5.51 + EuphoriaPatches 1.68, Distant Horizons 2.3.4-b. Any help appreciated :Prayge:...

LOD not showing on server (works fine in singleplayer)

Hi, I’m running 1.21.1 (NeoForge) with the Better Minecraft BMC5 pack. I’ve got DH installed on both client and server (also using C2ME and Chunky). After I used Chunky to pre-generate chunks, I can’t see any LODs on the server. But in singleplayer it works fine and I can see LODs....

Does pregenerating with mode "Internal Server" fully generate the chunks?

I have pregenerated my server using the Internal Server mode in order to generate both LODs and the world. My understanding is that this pregeneration is identical to if a player was to travel around and load each of these chunks - all data that would be stored if a player was to load the chunk (i.e. lighting data, etc.) should be stored in these chunks. Is this correct? I am asking because I have BlueMap running on my server alongside DH. BlueMap is supposed to read all fully loaded chunks and generate its map. This should also include chunks generated by DH, however, only spawn chunks & chunks loaded by players are rendered by BlueMap, instead of the full generated world. ...

High Loading time

Im currently running distant horizon and Lithosphere on 1.20.1, it says its going to take 17h to load everything, does anyone know if there anything i can do to shorten that time or help it all run smoother and such? Also when moving around, chunks loading from distant horizon seem to have a black flicker effect everytime i move
