weird fog at edge of natural render distance

I just uptaded my game and mods to 1.21.4 and got this

Fog appearing clientside on a server

Im getting an issue where a black fog is appearing around the edges of the render distance allowed by the server (i set it to 12 in the server config). Im wondering if this is an issue with the mod not being present on the server itself and im being limited to those 12 chunk view distance, or if its a problem with a different mod.

Limit chunk/lod generation after pre-generating smp server

Hello, i'm currently generation a 1250 chunk radius for my smp server, using i paid for the whole cpu and internal server mode, which settings should i change after i'm done to ensure the best performance possible for my players ? i will add a world border but i suppose if players gets near it they will start generating new chunks and lods, how can i prevent that ? i plan to include the lod database in the modpack i will ship to my friends playing the modpack, if i turn of distant generation will the server still update the modifications and stream the new lods to the clients ? i realise this question is not only specific to DH but i don't know where else to ask, thank you all in advance...

Distant horizons/ complementary.

I'm using complementary shaders and distant horizons keeps stuttering? People keep saying that if you have a high end pc complementary and distant should work. But it doesn't? It constantly stutters, drops fps even though i have a 4080, 32gb ram. Any fixes for this? Also the transition between LOD's generated and the actual minecraft chunks isn't smooth at all....

I get tremendous log spam when Embeddium is installed with Distant Horizons. 1.21.1. No other mods.

LODS failing/corrupted on Wynncraft Multiplayer

At first it was just rendering the lowest quality LODs until I forced it to reload everything by toggling cave culling. After re-downloaded the mod, it stopped making LODs altogether and giving me these corrupted transitions instead. I know it says Wynntils is installed there, but the problem began weeks before that. I've tried deleting the LOD data for the server and starting fresh, and that only works sporadically: It's a flip of the coin if it'll actually load anything when I log in. I can toggle distant generation and the corrupted bits will disappear and reappear. Yes, I've also turned off Wynntil's fullbright thing....

Single Gray/black chunk up to sky

Loving the mod so far. I have a single chunk that didn't render properly or something. Appears as seen in the picture, gray. Is there a way to redo that one chunk or anything? This is the FTB Evolution modpack.

Vanilla chunks doesnt transfer

Why my chunks i already loaded a thousand times in vanilla still i have to walk over them once again for them to show up

DH not working with "Create Ultimate selection" Modpack

Hi there, Im trying to get DH working with Create Ultimate Selection. Its on Forge 1.20.1 so i installed the DH version for it. Loading into it i noticed that DH doesnt seem to work as the chunks disappear on normal render distance. The Modpack is installed as i can change the DH settings....

Set different Real RD and DH RD

Iis there a way to decrease the fade effect distance? So like have my in game render distance set to 20 chunks but have the LODs start appearing after 10 chunks? So the real chunks and fake ones blend a bit better?

Troubles Importing Server LODs

Good Afternoon, I'm moving my LOD's over to a friend to join my server with. Overworld: We place the .sqlite into .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/, but DH doesn't display or load any LOD's when friend is in the server. I sat at his desktop, and ensured he's using my exact modpack, with all settings preserved....

LODs only showing transparent bits

Works fine until it doesnt, at which point it only renders weird chunks of the world. Happens on both singleplayer and multiplayer, but singleplayer has constant 100% cpu usage (13700k)

a message popped up when i loaded in the world with a bunch of mods which said "Distant Horizons: Alex's Caves Detected" it told me to change the config files but idk what to change about it can someone help me with that?

Pregen on Forge 1.20.1 not fully generating on Internal_Server

On DH 2.3.0, the Forge version on 1.20.1, I've been trying to pre-gen a server on a what seems to be a very unoptimized modpack for a Survival. I pregen'd at least a 256 chunk radius on Internal_Server mode, and when finished, it seems the DH LODs were loaded, but moving in "pregen'd" chunks caused lag backs as if the chunks weren't pregen'd and chunks were being sent to my client slowly as if they weren't generated. I then did the same kind of pregen except on chunky after removing DH and it was able to generate the world perfectly and moving in pre-loaded chunks did not cause heavy lag. Could this be a timing issue where DH isn't giving enough time for mods to generate everything that's needed? Are there any mods known to have any issues with DH pregen? Any suggestions would be great....

importing lod files to server

i want to generate the LOD files on my main pc but each world has its own sqlite file while the server plugin (papermc) only has 1 sqlite file for lods i think. So how would i go about importing the files from my pc to my server?

Help with server settings please!

Trying to make it so clients cannot generate new chunks using DH I see the option to disable distant generation, but will this also make it so things outside the players render distance not update? For example if I am building a tower 100 blocks away my friend will not see it until he gets in render distance or will they still sync up?

Crash code -1 after adding Tectonic and Terralith

I switched out Lithosphere for Tectonic and Terralith, went to make a new world, and the game crash report stated it was a DH issue. Is there a compatibility issue with these mods? I've had tectonic work fine before so could it be Terralith not playing nice?
