Someone from a small company in Hungary bought my product twice for two different team members, and used the PPP discount both times (40% off the first time, and 50% off the second). They are happy with the product. It fixed their issues for both people, but now they are requesting a refund for the second order because they "completely forgot that our license allows installations on 4 machines", and they "have very limited funds".
However, the pricing page and license agreement clearly state that the allowance of 4 machines is per person. You can't buy 1 license and share it with others in your company. Each person has to buy their own copy, or if they have more than 4 people, they can buy the Team license, which covers up to 25 people.
What would you do?...

I didn't post on social media for the last 3 months => page visits drop But the conversion rate shot up. I guess there’s no clear answer, but if anyone has experienced a similar feeling, would love to hear how you’ve dealt with it.
My situation: I still like programming and I’m good at it, but it’s not my passion anymore as it used to be. I haven’t worked as a programmer ever since I started teaching programming. In the meanwhile, my interests have shifted towards physical & mental health, nutrition, self-development, and various sports. What I do at work and what I do in life are very detached and this misalignment in personal and business interests makes it hard for me to show up at work....

about 10 months ago i started a (free) snail mail programming newsletter. due to postage costs i recently switched it to a paid newsletter, $50/year. so far i only have 6 paid subscribers but the fee certainly covers the postage!
and as an added bonus, idk if i’m the first programmer in history to make money from a snail mail programming newsletter, but it’s obviously not common, and there’s something satisfying about treading such an unworn path....
