VAOC Calibrated, But Totally Off Next Time Tool Runs

(This is on a 500) Been reading about the VAOC issues here and not sure my problem fits exactly into the more recent discussions, wondering if anyone would have guidance -- I can run through a VAOC calibration, everything looks good but when I do a multi color print, no good, x offset is quite large. >3-4mm. In trying to understand further, if I do a complete VAOC calibration and save, go back and home the machine, do a z-tilt, if i go back to a VAOC calibration, everything is way off. So it's not that it appears to be calibrated and it's printing incorrectly, it seems like my calibrations get out of whack basically as soon as it's saved. I've validated all screws are tightened, and belts are maybe a little loose but seem in accpetable range. when homed, bottom belts at 105hz and top belts at 98hz. Both sides are at same frequency. Only thing I am not sure on belts is length. All 4 are same length, but Im unsure how that all plays into how much belt is after each clip. If you follow what Im saying do I need to have the exact same number of teeth after the clips (in each toolhead) and I guess on either side of the mouting block for the hybrid belts? That Im not exactly mirrored, could that be an issue? Any guidance on best troublehshooting steps? Comissioning guide really doesnt have much for troubleshooting there. Ratos configurator and real time analysis error

Hi, when I want to go to configurator and real time analysis on already setup machine I get a white screen with Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information). anda bunch of errors in console.

Solution:

A possible fix for anyone looking into this issue in the future. I logged in via SCP and followed the path /home/pi/printer_data/logs deleted sonar.log and it works!

Octopus V1.1 not detected in DFU flash

I am setting up a second VC4 500 IDEX and this time the Octopus v1.1 that came with the kit will not show up in the DFU flash mode after adding the boot0 jumper and power cycling. I ended up flashing it with the sd card. It now shows “up to date”, but still can’t get it to detect to DFU flash in the future. Any advice on what could cause this?...

Touch screen configuration

Recently updated my minion to RATOS 2.1 RC3 and have a BTT PITFT50 5" touch screen and Pi Cam2 on a Pi4. Seems i can't get both the screen and camera to work at the same time. Camera won't display until i remove the screen ribbon. Seen other mention the same trouble and sound like the fix is to change the touch screen from the default type/model to a the model of the touch screen. How do i go about setting the model type for the touch screen? Or is this a different issue?

RatOS WiFi name change

Is it possible to change the broadcast SSID created by RatOS? I am building a second printer and the boss does not want them on the company network, so we have been logging in direct. But now I am setting up the second RPi RatOS image, there is only one RatOS SSID showing up.

Using a smaller build sheet then the actual bed size.

I have a vcore 3.1 500mm and found a deal on some 470mm PEI build sheets. It there an easy way to modify the printer settings to use this smaller sheet so the start print will probe and print in the center of the smaller sheet?

Change Toolshift during VAOC

Ok, so my issue is that I have a much smaller IDEX printer I've been working on building and I'm finally working on getting the IDEX part up and running. It is a roughly 200mm machine with dimensions that would be similar to a VC4 300mm, just 100mm less. I've managed to adjust almost all the variables I need to run RatOS on a 200mm "VC4" machine, but during VAOC when switching toolheads, it clearly assumes I have more area in the X direction than I do. So when switching between T0 and T1, the toolheads hit the frame, skip steps, and result in VAOC tuning being impossible. I'm terrible with coding, but I think I found the macro I need to change - [gcode_macro _VAOC_LOAD_TOOL]...

Option 'max_accel_to_decel' is not valid in section 'printer'

I did a software update and getting the 'max_accel_to_decel' error in Klipper. See the other posts about this option depreciated and to be changed to minimum cruise ratio.
Found 3 reference to the max_accel entry in the printer.cfg in the /config root folder. 2 under Base Setup and one under the Stepper motor, drivers, speed limit section. Changed them to the minimum cruise ratio, save restart, reboot, power down/up. Still getting the error. Example of the section in the printer.cfg file entry below. Not sure if the setting is not replicating to other config files or maybe missing another location to update. Could use some help hear please?? ideas??...

Hello! New to RatOS, somewhat familiar with Klipper. Just set up the printer (INDEX) and am getting this message when I try to print: Error evaluating 'gcode_macro START_PRINT:gcode': TypeError: bad operand type for abs(): 'Undefined' As far as I can tell is comes to this line here under the RatOS/macros.cfg - [gcode_macro START_PRINT]...

Fixed it? I re-entered the configurator wizard and skipped all the board flashing stages.

I’m currently building a RatRig together with a colleague for the first time. After we apparently finished the assembly, we moved on to the configuration. Now we’re supposed to flash the two toolboards, but we can’t really figure out which board it actually is. Based on the layout (compared with the pictures in the OS), we’re leaning towards the EBB42. Chamber heat in Orca Slicer causes extruder undertemp in start macro

troubleshooting toolboard usb issue

Dear all , I'm looking for help. I'm using this toolboard from bigtreetech onto my voron 2.4 r2 https://bttwiki.com/EBB%20SB2209%20USB.html I'm having issue during print ,after fews minutes klipper lost comunication with the toolboard. So far within the documentation grounding of the steppper motor requested/done, the heatsink installed; no information found inside documentation where to install, 2 spots possible. After adding a fan onto the pcb tool head i'm able to print for about 20 min now. I'm not sure it is a heat problem related, or pcb issue or usb cord/conection/interference?...

Solution:

well, i've replaced the cheap usb-c/usb-a cable provided with the board, seems to do the trick. I was able to achieve a print of 52 min without issue!

Brostrend not working with webcam.

I have a Pi 3 1GB(into VCORE 3.1) which I can connect with fine, until you plug in the webcam. Logitech standard. IT works fine but maybe robs alot of power? It switches off or interfers with the required wifi dongle to pick up printer wifi from the shed. The blue LED on the dongle comes on but doesn't flash like it should transfering data. Can't see it on the netwatcher either. Is it a power or CPU issue? Thinking of getting either a new pi or a powered dongle....

What Config Settings for Rapido 2 UHF?

When I set up my /config file, the only options under Rapido 2 are CHT or Regular. But I have a UHF. Am I doing it wrong?

Maybe share a screenshot, but I think UHF is assumed, and the question is just asking about the nozzle type
