What is this?! Wet filament? Clogged or fried nozzle? Prusa PC-CF which usually works awesome.
Filament was recently dried (but not quite to optimal temperature but several times as long). Bottom - New part had some infill/perimeter issues.... otherwise looks ok. Middle - ran an extrusion multiplier test... tweaked a small amount but was general okay and adjusted test looked improved. Top - Reprinted part - first few layers looked fair but then it started spewing crazy fuzz. One note is the first few layers are a chamfer and the ugly portion is straight wall.... also note infill looks...

tuning a 0.6mm nozzle
Hi
I have just move from a 0.4mm cht nozzle on my rapido to the UHF 0.6mm nozzle and I am tuning the bottom and top layer .
The bottom layer squish still shows some lines on the outer edges would I need to adjust z height a bit lower to get it better?
And also the top layer aren't looking perfect so I am wondering whether I still need to work on the EM maybe lower a bit more what do you reckon ?
Thank you...

First layer issue
This is the most squished I can get my first layer to go and I literally can't go lower without destroying my nozzle. This is 2 layers thick 1mm nozzle 1.2mm first layer width.

help cleaning up these corners after switching to .6mm nozzles from .4
Just switched to .6mm nozzles and trying to get dialed. Can you guys help me clean up these corners? The bracket with holes was printed with extrusion multiplier at 1 and the cube was at .99 which caused other issues.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to a linear advance tuning file for .6mm nozzles with Petg at 255-265 degrees? Thanks a ton...

Maybe some can help me the small gapes in the top layer next to the holes and at the edge

overextrusion on top layers

Getting these artifacts on my corners.
Okay so the thing i cant wrap my head around is that
1st they are on the same layer each time.
2nd They are on the LEFT side of each corner....

Rough and overly rounded edges.
So far my setup is: VCore 3.1 500, Speed 120mm/s, Acceleration 3500mm/s the y-axis is too heavy and the input shaper shows that my accelerations should be around 4500 . I understand that this part is too small for such a printer, and I also understand that I probably do not have enough acceleration. Nozzle 0.8mm, Hotend Rapido UHF . Trying to just fix problems with the mechanics and raise acceleration?
PA is tunned , i see perfect value at 0.05
Extruder is tuned too....

Baffled Beginner Has Distorted First Print
Nine months after receiving the V-Core 3.1 500 kit, I have finally printed "something", thanks in large part to help from blacksmithforlife us. It's just a very small, very simple calibration .amf file that was created as part of the SuperSlicer_2.4 installation. Attached are 2 images, one showing what S-S says it should look like, and the other is the distorted "thing" printed in PLA. The skirt was also very distorted. The belts are tight, but not like a violin string. The Rig moves quietly and smoothly. I've searched Discord, Facebook, etc. to see if anyone else had this problem, but haven't found anything yet.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this distortion? Help is greatly appreciated. I'm a raw beginner. This is my very first 3-D Printer, and my very first print.
V-Core 3.1 500, RatOS 2.0, Octopus Pro, Raspberry Pi 3 B+, filename: "filament_flow_test_cube.amf". SuperSlicer settings are all the defaults for V-Core 3.1, PLA, etc....

bridge problems
ive read what I can find but ive been unable to get this right so I could use some pro tips :P.
I am testing with Superslicer bridge flow tests, with ABS+ at 240C. Temp has been picked after a temp tower provided no dripping and good layer adhesion.
Bridge speed is at 100mm/s, 60% flow and 120% above bridges....
ratrig gantry parts in abs+ warp
I printed them oriented as advised but how is that warped layer supposed to print correctly without supports? Any ideas how I can print those please?
Thanks!...

Artifacts on v-minion in vase mode with 0.6 nozzle
I'm struggling to find why am I seeing artifacts when printing vase mode with a 0.6 nozzle on the v-minion.

- height: 0.46mm
- max vol. speed 13 mm3/s

Non consistent infill
What can be the explanation for these gaps in the infill?
Sliced with SuperSlicer. Infill speed was 225, perimeters 160. Slowed it all down to 80%, making infill 175 and perimeters 130, to see if it cleared up, but it didn’t , even though the initial perimeter speed is about the same.
Flow on the infill was at first about 20 mm3, after slowdown about 15 mm3, with a Mosquito Magnum and Orbiter 2.
Edit
Also tried the whole print at 150, gaps are still there. But less then before. Perimeters at 150 are fine....

Tolerance issues.
I am running into quite honestly appalling tolerance issues with my RR. I will print parts that are 300x300x300 and they will measure as close as possible to 300mm³ as can be. But when it comes to printing parts that fit together, printing holes for pins, it leave a lot to be desired.
e.g. my ender 2 i could go down to a 0.05mm tolerance. need a 2.5mm pin to fit in a hole? make the hole 2.55mm in cad and it will fit.
But i am at a point now with my RR that even a 0.3mm tolerance isn't cutting it. and it seems to be getting worse the more i use it....
Layer lines more visible in X axis
I noticed when printing a PA tower that for some reason the Y axis sides looked better than the X axis. It seems to have lines popping. Could this be atributed to the idlers on the xy joiners? When printer moves on Y those stay stationary

overextrusion at beginning of print
Hello,
as you can see in the pictures, I am having issues with overextrusion at the beginning of my prints. Do you have any ideas which setting might cause this?...

x Axis starts wrong point
Hi!
After upgrading to RatOs 2 my print now starts at the wrong x Position. It should start with a primeline on front left but starts on front right position.
I assume x min and x max position are mixed?
Everything else works, for example the mesh bed testing and z tilt as well as x homing start at front left position.
