Ratteling Noise on diagonal moves (V-Core 3.1)
Hey everyone,
I have this strange rattling noise on my printer (see attached Video). It only occures, when the printhead is moved diagnoally (so x and y on the same time) - so on Top/Bottom Layers and Infill. It´s origin seems to be the EVA Carriage. It occurs on high (150 mm/s) and low speed (35 mm/s), with accelerations below 5000 mm^2/s. X and Y moved alone don´t have a hint of this noise, even when the printhead moves much faster than stated. No resonance tuning done to it, no accel-sensor attached.
What I´ve tried so far:...
Big Layer Shifts
Been having an issue where my prints will be split partway through. I have not directly observed this in person. It started appearing shortly after I increased the velocity of non print moves from 250 to 500 (but not immediately after that change). It does not happen every print
When it happens, it seems like the x and y position will be wrong. Cancelling the print will cause the head to try and move out of bounds
I don't know what direction to look into fixing this besides lowering the non print speed again (which was done to avoid blobs on surfaces)...

I have a vcore 3.1 (mosquito kit)with the following HW:

Tightening xy joiners makes rails not smooth
Hi,
After deciding to square my frame a realized that when I tighten xy joiners the x rail is not smooth anymore, can someone help me with some guidance about how to check what is wrong?
Frame is square, all rails are new.
Thanks!...

🤦♂ Resolved: X and Y swapped movement
Slowly working on commissioning. All 3 Z motors behaving correctly. And the A and B motors do move in the +/- directions correctly, but when I click Y+ it moves the toolhead in a X+ direction. And visa versa with X and Y.
This is my first CoreXY so I am no doubt the problem here.
I have tried (separately testing each time):...
Help with Belt Tension
Hello there. I’ve got a problem with my machine and the belts. Today was the first time I have turned it on and got Klipper running. Once I did so, I started hiking the X and Y Axis before I figure out the beacon homing.
When I do so, I get a bunch of clicking and stuff like shown in the video. I’m guessing it is an issue with the belt, but I am unsure what! Any pointers and suggestions? Thank you for taking the time to read this....
Z Movement Clicking? Bad noise
Started getting this clicking during Z Tilt/Homing earlier, nothing changed in the printer so I’m not sure what’s causing it. I made sure the lead screws are greased well, and the noise doesn’t happen during manual axis movements so it’s hard to troubleshoot. I attached a video of what it sounds like
remove magnetic adhesive sheet.
I have a strange mesh so i think and see a lot of air Bubbles trapped between magnetic adhesive sheet and metal bed.
Is there a simple way to remove the adhesive and replace with another One?
Do i warm the bed and peel off the adhesive sheet?
Best regards ...
y axis skipping at accel > 5k (V-core 3.1 500)
Not sure what's causing this exactly, i don't even know where to look tbh.
I've checked for squareness and it looks fine,
The belt seems to move a little vertically over the course of its motion.
The attached video shows an inverted V motion after homing, which doesn't complete....
Move out of range: 425.698 137.904 0.368 [170.000]
I started experiencing this error yesterday, and I haven't changed anything on my printer. For the same STL file, sometimes it happens, and other times it doesn't. It occurs after the prime blob.
I have a fairly standard profile in SuperSlicer. I have an EBB42. I have a 400 RR....
Bed Not Heating
Yesterday I finished a print, everything seemed normal, printing at 70c bed temp. My next print that day, the bed started warming but before it got to 70, it crashed due to heater not heating at expected rate.
SSR lights up red, when heater is at 100% I'm showing a 0.4v drop across the switched side of the SSR, and across the leads of the bed I'm getting infinite resistance. Ideas? If it's a thermal fuse, why would that have happened, and is that even replaceable? For context, it's 110v and the printer has a few hundred hours on it....
[Solved] New 500 build. immediately clogs
I’m in the process of commissioning a 500 and I got to the spot to print my first layer. (PLA)
The head blobs ok I guess and then never lays down a clean line.
I can clear it and have it extrude in the air but it clogs on every attempt. I’ve tried increasing the temp but it does the same thing. ...

Every now and then Stepper_z1 doesn't enable properly.
As the title says. From time to time my printer doesn't enable z1 properly when it should be. Instead making an awful noise and not moving(a lot) while homing.
This issue will persist between turning the printer off and on again but can be resolved(semi permanently) by enabling the z steppers manually and then homing. Next time it's turned on it will work flawlessly again for weeks/months.
Anybody have an idea of what's causing this? Should I just enable the z steppers when turning the printer on and forget the issue existed?...
Resolved-Enclosure shelf parts don’t fit
First RR build. 500. Printed the enclosure top shelf parts right and left. They don’t seem to align with the umbilical strain relief part. Also doesn’t seem to be a hole for that part either. I’m probably doing something wrong. Any advice is much appreciated. ✌️

probe triggered prior to movement
My nozzle was clogged.... had to remove it completely and clean. After I reinstalled it, I first reset the z-offset (probe_calibrate). When I then wanted to start printing, it only threw the error probe triggered Prior to movement at the fifth checkpoint when calibrating the print bed.
Checked the cables, set z-offset again and found no error anywhere. Tried the whole thing again with the bed_mesh_calibrate command. There it threw the same error only at the second checkpoint (see picture).
Where is the error?...

Stepper heavily buzzing
I've tried reversing the stepper cables and adding ! to invert the direction, to no avail, it still has this insanely high pitch while moving.
The motor in question is the Z1 motor. And only Z1....
Difficulty getting the frame aligned
I'm having extreme difficulty getting two corners square. I've already tried everything. do you have any tips?

No skew correction option for printer.cfg?
I'm following the steps here: https://docs.ratrig.com/commissioning-guides/v-core-3-1#skew-calibration (but I've also referenced https://www.klipper3d.org/Skew_Correction.html?q=)
I printed everything, measured everything, and was able to use the SET_SKEW command and save the profile. In the printer.cfg, though, there's no place to put the variable_skew_profile item from Step 3. Just putting the [skew_correction] module in down by the USER OVERRIDES seems fine, but when I try to add in the variable_skew_profile part, Klipper crashes. What am I doing wrong?
I'm now seeing the following in the SAVE_CONFIG section (which warns us not to touch):
## [skew_correction my_skew_profile]
## xy_skew = -0.004528173929946366...
