Extruder Temp Error in the Middle of a print
Im getting the following error mid print. Im guessing my Rapido is going out, if anyone knows anything would appreciate it
MCU 'mcu' shutdown: ADC out of range Sensor 'extruder' temperature 327.031 not in range 0.000:300.000 This generally occurs when a heater temperature exceeds its configured min_temp or max_temp. Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdown...

Unable to read tmc uart 'stepper_z' register IFCNT
hey yall i just put in a Octopus Pro v1.1 H723 and i keep getting theses error mesages, i followed the rat rig instructions for this board, its flashed up to date and i put the jumpers in the correct place and swapped the wired according to the diagrams that rat rig gives. I know thier instructions can be a bit weird, is there something im doing wrong, can anyone help me with this
Odd sound after replacing hotend.
So I replaced hotend and had to replace the front bracket so undid my belts. Now I hear odd noise. Loosening or tightening doesn't make a difference.
Missing 100mm on Z height on Vcore 4 500
Hopefully this is an easy one but I just realized when I try to go the max height on my Vcore 4 500, I can only hit 415mm. I did check my configurator and I chose the Vcore 4 500 hybrid. Not sure where to else to look in the printer.cfg or RATOS.cfg
Thanks in advance!...
Solution:
Or in console do something like
g0 x50 y50 z500
Extremely inconsistent 1st Layer
I'm at a loss. My 1st layer is extremely inconsistent. I have to babystep all 1st layers the whole time. It starts good, then falls off a cliff by being way too close to the bed. On this 50x150mm patch printed in the center I started high, got a good looking layer, then the nozzle goes way too close to the bed.
It doesn't matter what material, bed temp or hotend temp, the 1st layer never is right. Usually let the printer heatsoak for 30mims before evem homing just to get all parts nice and hot.
BEACON Calibration shows a 65um gantry twist, so far the best I achieved. Going lower is extremely hard.
...
Solution:
Next update after some prints: the Toro3D Ti tube is a MUST HAVE, every 1st layer is a DREAM now! So if anyone has the same issue with very inconsistent 1st layer on the VC4 500 or the VC4 in general, drop in the Ti tube and call it a day.

Heating bed Vcore4
Hi I have a problem with heating bed. Why SSR is not receiving 24v from motherboard when I set heat for f.ex 100? Ssr is receiving signal but not 24v and on output I have voltage from 50v to 100v. Not 230v. Bed out on MCU is sending signal only 4-5V. Sometimes 1-2V Current it seems to be AC on output of MCU. I don’t get it
Vaoc camera issues
I have a problem with my vaoc camera 📷, when I turn off and on sometimes it’s working but most of the time it’s black.
Sometimes I can do the vaoc but when i go out and back in it’s black again.
Checked all connections and different usb ports.
Somebody have an idea?...
Nozzle play & stuck
I've got some problems with my T1:
Nozzle on T0 is firm, but T1 has a slight "wobble/play" to it, only ever so slightly but still, can I fix that somehow?
T1 will also frequently get "stuck" from (what I assume) retraction somehow, with a gentle push the filament pushes through and extrudes fine again.. I assume this is related with the "wobble"....
Extremely high gantry twist
Hello, I'm trying to calibrate my V-core 4 500 after updating from hybrid to IDEX. During the beacon ratos calibrate i get this:
Gantry twist relative to the center
Extremely high gantry twist: 3052.809880μm....

Toolhead 1.0 Sizing Issue - vCore 3.1

Anyone running a RatRig V‑Core 4 IDEX with LDO Orbitool O2 toolboards?
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to get my RatRig V‑Core 4 in IDEX mode up and running with LDO Orbitool O2 toolboards under RatOS RC2.1 + Klipper, but I keep hitting this error on restart:

Wobbly nozzle.
Hi i was digging why my printer is not achieving smooth outter perimeters at high speeds and found out wobbly nozzle assembly. Dissasembled entire hotend and found out that the little titanium screws are tightened all the way up but the nozzle with heatblock is wobbling because the screws or to long or something... Does anybody had the same problem or I'm very Lucky?
Bed not moving correctly?
Hi i have a rough surface problem lately and started digging. I found i can move every bed arm by about 1mm up. The backlash isn't backlashing? Or this is normal? Also i setted up dial gauge and moved bed by 1mm up and down via default web interface and i think this isnt good deviation...
New build, strange bump on bed
Any ideas on what the Ayers Rock 3D map is doing on my new VC4 - 500 Hybrid? Nothing visible there.

Resonance only on circular parts VC4 Hybrid
My printer is tuned fairly well. On square objects, homing, etc. The movement is very quiet. The issue is during round objects there is a louder resonance. I can't seem to pinpoint where it is coming from but it only occurs during round areas. Any ideas?
V4 500 IDEX shitload of small crums
Overtightened my primary extruder and now molten filament is streaming down from the direction of the heatsink. IDEX and Remap toolheads to the rescue... so I thought.
A small print approx. 20min prints flawless, but as soon as I print a large model little wisps and strands appear several layers in and the situation gradually grows worse and worse. In the end I end up with an unusable print and a build plate literally filled with broken off and tossed around crums.

Solution:
Ok, after printing a temp tower for the second hotend I upped the temperature from 210°C (best for first hotend) to 240°C (I'm printing PETG).
Now everything prints fine on the second hotend.
Which begs a new and different question......

Belts got nibbled up a lot
Yeah so my printer is 2 years old now with the whole XY system replaced with Open Front Tensioner, Lightweight Y carriage and all metal mod.
Somehow my belt aren’t being routed right both upper and lower
I wonder where could be the main reason ? The area is pretty close to the tensioner....
Solution:
Solution: Fuck it I find it my own since our Admins are busy handling some other topics.
So you people who use this Open Front Tensioner from Funssor or EarthToMe.
Try to tension by using your fingers, pull the bearing block to the tension point then tighten the Nylon Nut under the tensioner housing. Then screw in the tension bolt at front. ...

Z-tilt Error DRV_STATUS: 001c0010
I am getting an error message when I do a Z-Tilt. The printer homes XYZ no problem but on the Z tilt it does the 1st measurement but on the 1st adjustment I get this error. Any ideas?

Heater not heating as expected
Hi all, I'm having an issue where the thermistor of T0 is giving me spiky values causing a system shutdown while printing (see purple line in picture). I've now replaced the Rapido with a completely new one, but the issue continuous to happen with this one, making me wonder if it is the thermistor that is the cause of this. There are no weird kinks or anything in the cable, and the cables are properly secured. T1 is showing no issues whatsoever.
Anybody have a clue? Maybe something on the EBB42 board?...

RatOS-invalid
Have tried the version of RatOS 2.1 and followed the guide but still ended up having problems.
Used Rufus to flash the sd with the image we downloaded from github at the link in the guide. Attached you find the folder used.
Then we proceed by upgrading the software packages:
Since I found both ratos and ratos-configurator in the list (RatOS prior to V2.1.0-RC4), we started by updating ratos first, then ratos-configurator. Ended up stuck with the upgrade of the configurator....
