Sensor extruder temperature not in range

Ratrig v core 4. I checked the crimping of the pt1000 cable - all good. One pin on the ebb 42 board for the jumper of pt1000 is shorter - should I solder the pins together, maybe the jumper is not working?

Help with Klipper using raspberry pi hotspot

Hello! I'm not using ratOS but I have a question about the ability to use Klipper off of a raspberry pis hotspot. I know during the initial setup if a ratrig you connect to the printer through a hotspot and configure it. I am wondering if I can do something similar in regular Klipper because my college has restrictions on WiFi usage for devices that aren't school computers. I figured out how to get Klipper running perfectly fine and how to get the hotspot running. The issue lies with actually connecting because I get an error message that states "unauthorized" when using the .local IP and the numeric one. I tried messing around in the file Moonraker tells you to add connecting IPs into and it didn't help. The only time it works is if it's connected to a mobile hotspot or my home WiFi. Does anyone know a workaround? Thanks!...

V-Core 3.1 heightmap curve

Hello! I have a V-Core 3.1 and when doing the heightmap I get a curve to the back. I’ve loosened all rails and raised point A and B according to the video in the commissioned guide, but I can’t seem to get rid of the curve. Any ideas?...

pt 1000 temperature reading oscillates +-10°C

Hi I just set up my vcore4 idex (stock) and the T1 temperature reading of the pt1000 oscillates by 10°C (see picture). The jumper on the ebb42 V1.2 for the pt1000 is installed and I switched the jumper without any change. The resistance at about 22°C room temperature is constant at 1086 Ohm, which should be right. I also checked my config and everything is set up correctly. The cable connector sits firmly in place and the crimps sit inside the connector. What could cause this? I assume it's the ebb42 board. If you agree with my assumption I will probably switch the two boards and see if the board is the problem....

Autoleveling off by ~0.2mm in one area on V-Core 4 500 IDEX

Hi! Even after heat soaking my V-Core 4 for half an hour, running through the thermal expansion calibration again etc, my auto leveling still is off by about 0.2mm on the upper right part of my build plate. (see pictures below) i currently dont know how to approach this issue further...

Any part cooling fan always on 100%

I just went through a huge mess with having to reinstall everything and now my initial issue is still going on. My 4028 fan turns on full blast when the printer boots up. I got the PWM wire properly connected as far as I can see, I got the fan pin in right. I can't get it to go at anything below full blast even when it's set to 0% on mainsail. I followed the setup in the docs, found out the pin in the docs is an always on and shouldn't be used so put it in PD15. No jumper between the PWM pins. So don't know why it's not working....

Vcore 4 Idex toolhead T0 grinding when Y or X moved

Ive checked thr wiring and tightened the belts. The Z moves fine, and I've tried changing the stepper motor directions as well. Unsure if I've done something wrong or if I missed a step

Automatic bed leveling

Hi I have some VCore 3.1 and one topic i cant get solved or find anything. I expecting that after the bed mash was creating that he will make corrections during the print ( like i knowing it from all my Prusa Printers) so that finaly the first layer is good . But with my ratrig NO no corrections what is on a 300 usualy working in my 400 i found a middle way with just a small correction over the print . but the 500 is heavy here its usual that i will have areas much too close and areas much too far away from the bed . I searched but could found anything , and i mean nothing so maybe i using the wrong keyword for the search . Does anyone can tell me hwo to activate an active bed leveling to get finaly usable first layers and no need to monitor the first layers anymore ? ...

Smart Sensor detects filament - RatOs doesn't get the information

It is a vcore4 using Orbiter V2 Smart Sensor. RatOs v2.1.0-RC3 The Smart Sensor detects the filament, the LED turns green. But RatOs seems not to pick up this information. It is a actual shipped setup with the EBB42 CAN V1.2 toolboards....
Solution:
Ok the issue is solved: it had been a wiring issue and changed the Filament and the Button wire. As you get suspicios with the current documentation I looked at the pins from the official Orbiter Website. But they got it wrong. The RatRig documentation is correct.

Is my printer binding up?

During the setup stage of the print it seems to lock up and loose its positing. Is it actually locking up or is something else going on? And if so, how could I fix this? The this happens about 2/5 times I try print...

Stock bed shaped like a U

I finally got to the part where I setup the beacon for the first time and create bed mesh. VC4 500 IDEX. The bed has a serious physical dip on the right side. Straight edge confirms the valley on the top and the straight edge is like a see saw on the bottom hump. I have contacted ratrig several times with no answer. What do I do from here? I refuse to stick my heat pad or magnet to this bed as it’s so bad and you can visually see the dip without a straight edge. Here’s my graph.

Stripped screws holding Y rails

Hi everyone, I got a used V3.1 300 some time ago and while looking to fix the Y rails to get better bed meshes I stumbled upon like 4 stripped screws on one rails that won't budge: what would be the wisest option to take those out? It seems like theyre extremely tight, and I've already tried: - adding a rubber band to increase friction - using biger allen keys (they're too big)...
