Info on Connecting two Controller Fans, octopus 1.1
Im having some problems figuring out how to connect two additional controller fans to my octopus. My part fan and extruder fan are connecter per the ratrig instructions. I am assuming I can use the next two connections but can't seem to get them to work with the config overides. Do I need to mod the firmware?
4028 fan issue after updating to ratos2
Having some trouble with my fan working since updating to ratos 2.0. board wiring attached. I've gone through the config directions and it seems like everything is set properly. Part cooling Fan no longer turns on at all.
Vertical ridges on circular prints and vibration.
Hi All,
I upgraded my print head assembly to the new EVA 3.0 for my Vcore 3.1-400 and updated my extruder to a Orbiter 2.0. Now when I print I get vertical ridges in my circular prints. I've adjusted my belt tension, verified the carriage is not racking, eliminated the slicer by reprinting an existing sliced file that was printed before the upgrade.
Does anyone have a suggestion of what to look at next?...

Hello, I noticed this pattern on my prints. Tried to realign the rod, seems it get a bit better, but still has a noticeable pattern. I tried to move x carriage, and it seems that there is movement in z rail. Can faulty z rail/bearing cause this?
V-MiniON - Layer Shift on Y axis only
My beefed-up V-MiniON exhibits random layer shifting in Y axis only, and on certain models. I can print different models without a hitch, but on specific models it starts having layer shifting.
It's a standard v-MiniON on SKR 3, with a 2504 motor on Y axis (with appropriate config change for it).
No input shaper measured on Y yet (I didn't find time to move the ADXL and test it)....
X & Y Stepper drivers overheating while IDLE (so not yet homed)
I am running a V-Core 3 with RATOS2.0 on M8P with CM4 and 2209 (and EBB36) with latest Klipper and updated system. While yesterday the printer was functional, I powered down and this morning I restarted the printer. Now I noticed a clicking sound which I now believe was the steppers resetting due to overheating. I narrowed it down to the X & Y steppers overheating.
Stuff I have seen but can not explain:
-I checked that cables and the appear ok.
-If I disconnect both cables (Left and Right) from the steppers and reboot, the stepper of the left motor immediately overheats (I have a thermistor on the heatsink) and it goes to 80degr C so I switch off the printer.
-I take out the Left motor stepper (as I thought it might be defect). Right Stepper still in the board. When I connect the Right Motor to the Right stepper, The Motor actually Locks (no movement). When disconnecting the motor hire, the full gantry moves as normal....
