Rain glitching out and showing me caves in distant chunks even when the surface is not loaded

Hi! I've a vague idea that this may be the mod causing this, or at least someone may have heard about this. I'm playing on Neoforge 1.21 in a custom modpack and I don't have any of the listed incompatible mods (that I know of). Whenever it rains in my world, it looks glitchy and transparent and starts showing me caves and other random terrain that I otherwise wouldn't be able to see, almost like it's obscuring the chunks I'm actually in. Any help would be appreciated :)

Minecraft when joining a server

Minecraft crashing when I'm joining a server that has resource-packs installed. When I click join server the resourcepack loads after that it crashes. And also I'm able to join the server when Distant Horizon is removed. Also can join server that has no resourcepacks like hypixel with DH installed....

Beacons not rendering in LODs.

My world generation just completely broke

I'm on a modded server and after trying to load in at one point I started getting booted upon load. ChatGPT told me to try disabling DH. I did so and was able to load in. I re-enabled it and found my chunks had gone through a blender. I thought they were just LODS at first and started loading them to make them update and vanish. These are physical chunks tho. Insane lag when downloading server lod data

using the paper server side version of DH (1.20.6) and the config says max data transfer is unsupported... does that mean its always uncapped, and theres no way for me to cap it? atm im experiencing crazy lag whenever a player joins until theyve downloaded all the lods

Transparent thing when loading in chunks

I pregenerated chunks with chunky, when I explore then theres this transparent thing going on. Can I get rid of it?

DH server data from older mc version don't load in newer versions

Hi, I used to play on a vanila server with 1.20.4 client (dh 2.1.2), but they announced switching to 1.21.1+ clients only and my old lod file gets erased every time I try importing it to 1.21.1 (dh 2.2.1) and joining the server.

Grass not loading outside java render distance

I'm not sure why this issue is occuring but there's no grass, or flowers on top of the ground outside the java render distance. Also the textures appear to be simplified versions of the original

Check LOD conversion progress + other small questions

Hi! 🙂 I previously asked this in #general but I realized I should've posted it here. I recently updated DH from 2.1.2-a to 2.2.1-a, on a 1.21 singleplayer world (I only updated mods and Java version, not the MC version itself). The mod is now converting the LODs on that save (only pre-generated chunks are allowed as per my settings). I just wanted to ask if there's a way to check the progress on that? Maybe through a command? I had to put the CPU load on max ("I paid for the whole CPU"), which makes the game a bit laggy, so I just wanted to know when it'll be ready to play....

Leaves will turn black in LODS with polytone and then spams the logs to an ungodly amount.

Im a resource pack creator and im working on switching from optifine to polytone and so far it works pretty well and actually wasn't expecting the color changes to apply in the LODS as well. However I've have had this really annoying problem where sometimes, when I reload the datapack or resource pack, the leaves in the LODS turn pitch black for some reason. I have narrowed it down to distant horizons or tectonic, I have no other mods installed other than tectonic. I'm fairly certain it is distant horizons. No error messages or crashes. singleplayer. No idea how to fix this just suddenly appeared, version is also 1.21.5

I have two computers at home with exactly the same Minecraft configuration, mods etc. One works fine but the other does not get chunks from the server. Server plug in version 0.9.0 and 0.10.0-snapshot tested. Anyone know what to do to resolve this ?...

shader starts freaking out when loading lods in new world

Latest bliss version. Seems to only happen with DH. Only started recently after I removed dynamic fps mod? Does that have anything to do with it?
Solution:
This is a Bliss issue, there are 5 known potential fixes: - Turn shaders off and back on (repeat after each next fix) - Set transparency to complete in DH settings - Decrease or increase the DH RD by 2 - 8 chunks - Restart the game after applying all the previous fixes ...

crashing game randomly

I am playing the game and randomly crash a decent chunk in every time. the crash log talks about distant horizons so im pretty sure thats the reason and i have tried turning off distant horizons in options. Is there any way to fix this or do i have to uninstall distant horizons...

Game Lagging after a few hours

Setup : DH v2.3.2 b Minecraft Fabric 1.21.1 Modpack : Dungeons Heroes launched from Curseforge on BisectHosting Server Hi, I noticed a lag pattern after some hours of play. Like the game (even my whole computer) freezes for 10-20sec every 3-5 minutes. Thx to the resource monitor, I spotted a file being written monopolizing 100% of my SSD. It's the launcher logs located in C/User/Username/curseforge/minecraft/Install, I had several of them going up to more than 50Go. I also had the latest.log in C/User/Username/curseforge/minecraft/Instances/Dungeon Heroes/logs that was going up to 200Go for one file. I managed to lock the latest.log by creating a new one and setting it to read only, but the launcher logs keep getting created. ...
