Solved: P&F inductive probe always triggered

I am using an octopus pro 446 and wired the probe according to the diagram but it won't change states. What can I try to debug it?

Poor flow rate performance, LGX lite only 2 settings?

Could these things be related? I can get max about 24mm3/s at 0.6n, and no more than 28 with a CHT. I have the phaetus rapido, and no reverse bowden because the tube drag brought flow down even lower to 15mm^3/s, even with PETG at 270C. The LGX lite is meant to have 3 settings, but I only have 2 and have tried both to no difference in effect.

Octopus Max EZ with Klicky

I have a Klicky that states its expected state is deployed but it is stowed. When it is actually deplaoyed. Probe was working on a Octopus v1.1. All I did was move it to the new board. I have tried all 4 below with no success. I am connected to the PF11 and GND. Thanks. Klicky probe (please read the RatOS documentation for instructions) [include RatOS/z-probe/klicky.cfg] #[include RatOS/z-probe/unklicky.cfg]...

Stepper Wiring Issue

Board: BTT Octopus Max EZ 1.0 Steppers: StepperOnline 17HE19-2004S Im using the original harness from RR, but I have repined the main board side to what I believe is the correct order from my understanding of the stepper spec sheet and the BTT Max EZ manual. Despite this, Im still getting the following error:...

Frame Slightly off Square on Ratrig VCore 3.1 400 Enclosed

Just finished the gantry and EVA and noticed that there is about 1mm of space ahead of the left Y bumper, while the right it flush. I tried to loosen the screws on both Y carriages and the pully screws for each side of the gantry, but this didn't fix the issue. I did try loosening the left rail and retightening after moving Y forward and back, and same result. To keep checking, I measured the spacing in left and right, which seem fine. Diagonally, however, the spacings were 900mm and 902mm. Everything Else I've measured seems fine or is different by less than 0.5mm. One thing to note is that I have not tensioned the belts with any tuning, but they seem to be relatively tight and similar to each other. Additionally, I did not notice any change in the misalignment during tightening. My main concern is that I notice an occasional (but consistent) judder when the left motor is spinning when I move the toolhead by hand. I have not tried moving the toolhead by the motors yet as my electronics are not set up yet and I still need to get some of the final wires. I'm not sure if the juddering is solely because I am moving it by hand, or if it is from something else. I also wasn't sure if the ~2mm difference would be an issue or not considering everything else seems to be ok. For all I know, it could just be the position of the corner plates being slightly off. ...

Adaptive mesh difficulties with multiple models

Hi there. I'm starting to have difficulties with printing multiple models using adaptive mesh. When my printer starts the first layer on the first model ,everything is perfect. The zoffset doesn't need adjusted, first layer sticks extremely well to the bed. It's all good. But when It moves over to print the first layer of the second model, the first layer will not stick to the bed. The weird part is, if i set my slicer to print the second model first and the original first one second, it does the exact same thing. The first model (the one that failed the first time) prints a prefect first layer and the second one (the one that printed perfectly the first time) does not stick to the bed. Could this be a problem with the adaptive mesh or could it be a slicer problem? I have been using the same superslicer version and profile since I got the printer. This problem has only appeared since I had to reinstall ratOS. Thanks....

Updated to my detriment

Right, so I hadn't updated the ratrig for a while, thought I best had, things haven't been good since, super long cold boot times, and now I have some warning messages. followed the instructions in the messages, SSH'd into the Pi, opened the moonraker.asvc file with nano and added "RatOS" and "timelapse" to the bottom of the file. saved and restarted. warnings haven't come back. While searching up on the warning messages I found this blog post: https://os.ratrig.com/blog/crowsnest-v4-breaking-changes-manual-upgrade...

extruder below min temp + Error evaluating "gcode_macro _Park :gcode' : Undefinederror: 'dict objec'

Greetings legends, Recently I started getting errors such as "extruder below minimum temp". Usually towards the end of the print. I ran a few PID tuning, still had the same issue. The thermistor and heater cartridge seemed fine, however I replaced the dragon HF with a brand new Rapido....

timer too close

Hi everyone, My printer was printing a part when it suddenly stopped with the error: "MCU 'mcu' shutdown: Timer too close" on the first or second layer. I then updated all components and restarted the print, and it seemed fine, but then failed about 10 layers into the print instead. No changes were made from last print i made to this print. I will attempt to reprint the last succesfull print to check if its the slicing, that somehow caused it (but i suspect not, since it was on different layers). I noticed that print_stall is equal to 1, but I have no clue what that means....

Not Having Any Luck Trying to Add a Filament Runout Sensor

I'm really frustrated, as I've been working on this for weeks and I can't get it to work. I have a V-Minion and I wanted to add a filament runout sensor. I've had one on my modified Ender for a long time and it works well. I first tried with a BTT Smart Filament Runout Sensor. This type of sensor sends pulses as the filament moves through it so that it can detect jams where the filament is loaded but is prevented from moving. I plugged it into E0_DET port on the SKRat. This is a 3-pin port, which has 5V, Ground, and the Detection pin, and I used the following config: [filament_motion_sensor runout_sensor]...

Stepper staying powered up

Hi lads, So I noticed my 5160 was burning hot with the printer idle(fans off, motors supposed to be disabled), Evidently it must have killed it. I swapped to 2209's and noticed that power does not stop going to one of the motors no matter what I do. It still works but the motor is always enabled. I have moved X to the Z3 port essentially and it doesn't have this issue. Could I have shorted or damaged a stepper port somehow? Any way of telling if I've damaged the board? I'm just worried other areas could be too.....

adjust Y end stop on minion

if I home all and got to 0,0 the nozzle is off the bed how to I shift y origin to be 5.5 this may be a perspective thing, but in my mind the origin would ideally be front left side side of the bed . looking straight ahead at the printer they Y end stop and motor is to the right side. current origin, from this perspective, is back left corner. do I have something set incorrectly? is it just preference ?...

Wifi connection unstable

Hello guys, I spent the last two weeks figuring out how to make the Wifi connection from the Pi to the router more stable but it seems to be more a problem of signal quality which I can`t change in my case. So here comes the Question. Can I run a direct ethernet connection from my Computer to the PI ? And how is the setup up procedure for this? I tried it just by connecting the cable and I recived an ethernet ip, but the host still want´s to use the routers wifi.

Z Tilt error help

Hi, just finished building my printer and getting things set up with a lot of help from a friend. I was just trying to start my first benchy when I got this error saying "Probed points range is increasing" as it was attempting to do the Z Tilt. I've attempted it again and getting the same results. Any ideas what's causing it or how to fix it?

Cannot adjust Z tilt

just finished an enclosed ratrig got 9 prints done but strarted getting this error ''Probed points range is increasing.'' I have two more printers without enclosure but this one always took more time to adjust for z tilt .

Heater heater_bed not heating at expected rate See the 'verify_heater'

I received this error after attempting to raise my bed temp to greater than 145C. It seems that the thermistor is working fine, as the temper gradually dropped after getting the error. I plugged the 110v Keenovo bed heater directly into 110v and it is not warming at all. I'm not familiar with these bed heaters? Is there some part of it that needs replaced... or the whole thing? ...or am I wholesale diagnosing this issue incorrectly?...

Part Cooling Fan - Logic Inverted

I've almost finished a v-core-3. Almost everything has been tested and it all seems good apart from the part cooling fan. The logic is reversed, setting it to 100% turns the fan off while setting it to 0% is max speed. Would anyone have any idea where i've gone wrong and how to fix it. i've looked through files and can't see a way of inverting the logic....
