Likely Broken Mainboard

I was installing a webcam while the printer was plugged in, which I didn't figure would be an issue. However, I dropped the USB connector and it touched my Octopus 1.1 and made a loud noise and a flash, and a bit of smoke. I am assuming the Mainboard is dead, as it gets stuck on "startup", and meanwhile the bed hotend get hot and the part cooling fan spins....

Leadscrews ratrig 3.1 kit 500³

I recently got my ratrig kit, it arrived with a scarred bed on the underside (luckly) and with bent leadscrews straight from ratrig, one of them is bent in all different directions but just a little so its fine, but the rest of them is extremly bent and i would say unusable.... they were packed tightly in the 3030 extrusions i carefully slid them out and unpacked, then checked for the straightnes using the rolling on a flat surface technique. How can ratrig send such bent leadscrews?! Should i contact support right away? Is it even worth it? They might send a replacement but badly packaged and it might get bent again during shipping. What should i do?...

Bed Mesh Issues

I noticed my bed mesh is whack. Any ideas how to fix this? I squared the machine while building it but I brought it down 2 flights of stairs. I noticed that it greatly affects the 1st layer adhesion of the entire machine. Screenshot of Mesh included....

Part cooling fan always on at low speed

Hello, I have an issue with my Rat rig C-Core 3.1 priter (400x400) cooling part fan. I changed the part cooling fan with this one "https://www.distrelec.ch/fr/ventilateur-axial-dc-bille-40x40x28mm-12v-48-6m-sanyo-denki-9ga0412p3k01/p/30154445". It seems to work quiet well. I can change the speed with PWM control correctly. The only problem is that when the value of the fan speed is set to 0 (when not printing or while first layer) it still blows some air. The speed is very slow but not at zero as expected. I have trouble understnding the issue... This is my klipper config for part cooling (pretty standard configuration) : [fan]...

SKR 2 dead?

My SKR 2 seems to be dead. I get an error that a temperature is outside the allowed range. I first thought it was the HE thermistor and exchanged it (then adjusted min_temp of HE and Bed to be sure - yes I know in the wrong section). I then noticed that the SKR shows a temperature of over 130 C (is in the original box from the Minion with cooling fan). Guess the thing is broken...

Toolboard looses communication when generating a shaper graph for Y axis

I just installed a 5V PSU to power RPi4 and a 48V PSU that I wired to the Motor supply on the Octopus Pro. Now, I am trying to generate shaper graphs. Works fine with the X axis but always fails on the Y axis at around the same time at ~30Hz, even if I start it separately. Before the modification I had no problems generating shaper graphs....

EBB42 Where Do I Begin?

Hello! I am working on finishing the wiring for my RatRig 500 and due to some of the wiring being way too short I started looking into some of my options. I found some folks talking about the BTT EBB42 as an option. I was wondering if there is someone that might be able to answer some questions regarding the board before I go down that path? Essentially, I am just trying to figure out which cables I need, if there is an installation guide available, what I will need to do when setting up the Octopus board, and if there are any things that I need to know before purchasing?...

BTT Smart Filament Sensor Issue

Can’t figure out why my sensor isnt working? I added a sensor to PG10 on my octopus pro board. And also added the configuration for the sensor (as seen in photo). Rear z-axis motor not running smoothly

So I finally got round to building my v-core 3 500, got the bltouch setup and ran my first home which worked. I then ran z-tilt and the rear didn't rise up far enough. Cannot obtain IP address over Ethernet

I cannot obtain a normal IP address when connecting over Ethernet. It always gets the address 169.254.250.216, which I cannot access. As far as I understood, this means that there is an issue with the DHCP server, but I haven't found a solution. Thanks for any help...

VCORE3.1 500MM BED ISSUE

Hello, my vcore 500mm³ kit just arrived today, sadly i discovered an ugly scar on the bottom side of the bed and many less visible imperfections, is that a problem? It didn't happen during shipping since the peel was on top and untouched, there was just some dirty sludge under the peal on top of the damage... The top side looks good, haven't peeled it yet so im not 100%. The bottom is quite ugly and probably passed qc....................... So should i contact support, or just continue the build like nothing happened?...

Filament jam after/during filament change

Hi! My ratrig functioned just fine 130 h but then I got problems with Rapido UHF. Now I have new Rapido UHF and it worked fine for few prints. But now when I used filament unload macro Rapido clogged. If I measured the depth of clog correctly it is at heatsink's thinner part. Any ideas what could be cause of this? I am getting super tired of constantly disasembling EVA and troubleshooting problems with Rapido... I have like zero problems with my other printer´s Volcano-hotend......

Inductive probe suddenly triggers at a mere ~2mm

Yesterday, the bed has crushed the heat-break and it turned out that the probe triggering distance is at around 2mm now, when previously it was at least 15mm. Is there any reason for the probe to change the triggering distance? Any way to fix it?...

endstops doesn't react to switches

Hi, I've got strange problem. I've bought new switches identical to switches which came with the kit. I've soldered them the same way like original switches. I checked if they are working with multimeter and when I click on switch, connection opens perfectly. I've connected them to octopus v1.1 so ground pin connects with signal pin when switch is pressed. When i click the switch klipper doesn't detect it, but when I short ground and signal pins on board it shows that endstop is pressed. I don't...
